the horrible def ( protectors ) that the rogues have to wear really just sets me off....i got hit so hard sometimes that i had to retreat from enemies....and so far i am only lvl 11 pure rogue dual daggers...should i invest points into warrior mastery so i can wear armor?

I wouldn't. When you get stealth, you'll need all the speed you can get.

Scud, and the dagger buff should be enough, but I recommend sticking with protector. With Desperate dagger on it won't make much difference anyways.

if im ever in trouble i just equip my daggers if they arent already equiped, hit scud and zoom outta there. if worst comes to worst and i REALLY need an escape route quick (and scud is recharging) i zerk and either kill the monster and go to a better area or zerk and run like hell. 8)

Id say that +75 % dmg and -75 % def is almost useless. When ur fighting in pvp, u might hit higher, but u get same damage from enemy coz of -75 % def.

The point of a rogue is to take out enemies quickly. Therefore, if you use stealth and get behind a pure int, it won't matter what your defence is because your enemies won't have time to respond.

I agree with bobby but also it helps for what Europe was designed for... partying. In guild wars or job wars just pop stealth and dagger desperate, get behind the opposing main damage dealer and kill him easily then take out others while they're fighting others of your group. Plus don't warriors have some type of skill that lets them take some of the party damage? If so that'll help if someone attacks back at you for killing their nuker.

Yes they do, it's called Pain Quota. Maxed, it absorbs 100% damage, and divides it evenly amoung your party.

Whenever I decide to use Desperate Dagger in a party, I always ask warriors to cast it on me, because I always end up drawing aggro, even from 2h warriors.

Anyone thought of having cleric as a sub and using those defence passives that increase mag and phys defence when ur wearing light armour? I've heard they carry over when u arent using a cleric rod. And i think there are other cleric defence related skills that carry over if u switch weapons (no idea which ones).

They don't care over when you switch from Cleric to Rogue, sorry.

There are some skills that carry over, but not many.

Bobby, does Pain Quota carry over from warrior to rogue cuz that would be great to have for sub mastery.

I'm not sure, my knowledge lacks in skills that carry over. But I'm fairly sure it doesn't. I also doubt you can use it on yourself.

The general rule of thumb is... If it only says "Used Item: X", you only need to switch weapons to use the skill. If it says "Used Item: X" AND "Required Item: X", you have to have that type of weapon on. If you switch, the skill will go off.

I think all passive skills work only with their respective classes AND weapons, if they require one... =)
