whats it good for?

I had a level 35 70:70 bow build bowman and he did horrible in PVP and in PVE he did less damage than a Pure STR's build. I would never recommend any other build for bow than Pure STR since bow's crits are unbelievable.

Well that I believe is a personal mishap. 70:70 bowmen do considerably well in PvP at cap.

considering 70:70, str hybrid, and pure str all do about the same crit damage , id think pure str would be the way to go since u'd also have the most hp.

the thing about bow is that you want to win with crits, not even glaives can win without crits at cap (lvl 80).

this is what makes full str bows so deadly, antidevil book 3 with crit 25 increase, antidevil book 4 with crit 30 increase, strongbow craft with crit 10 increase, and a 5 arrow combo with knockback.


though you could make the argument that with snow shield, hybrids stand a better chance since they do more damage when they dont crit, a pure str can get snow shield too and just tank the 2 minutes off :S

I Cant understand why people say a 70:70 bow do less dmg than a pure str bow...
Its 100% clear that a 70:70 bow do more dmg than a str bow.. if you dont believe just look in my thread there are some pics...
and low lvl pvp cant be compared with high lvl pvp !

LOL Fudge I was pvping a friend (pure str) today who is lvl 39 same as me altho im gapped to 33 so i cna 9gap 42 he was 0 gapped. He was also wearing s0s armour against my s0s prot set. And I started to worry when his Strongbow hit me for 1.8k hp non crit so I turned on Mana shield 4 attempts to kill me in the 2 mins and he died with in 6shots eachtime from me, a crit on either anti devil or strongbow followed by combo and autumn and he was cooked.

Oh BTW im HYB Str, And yes I believe even mana Shield can save Int Bow builds they will be same as Nukers and I eat them for breakfest

HYB Str arent as good as pure str at pvp...period.

yea lvl 39 lol, you dont even have antidevil steel yet. If he was smart he'd get mana shield too.

You thought you asked a simple question.
With a quick tally I see 3 people for hybrids. 4 people against.
And none of them with high level hybrid bows.

The only person who can probably answer your question about pvp is Undutchable. As his is lvl 72ish.

I can tell you that they grind almost as fast a nukers. And in my opinion before the euro update they were very mediocre in pvp. Not bad, just not its strong point. Though most people think bow suks in pvp no matter where you put your stat points.
Since the update I don't have enough experience to say.

wen u say 70:70 build do u mean 70:70 phy/mag blanace or do you mean your stat points are distributed os 1:1? and yes the 70:70 bow build is much mre effective then str bow, i'm telling it trly is at lvl 80

If i read correctly, you dont even know what build he's talking about then u say it is the best.. and on top of that to trust u.... u a confused person.... Jus thought i might catch u at that....


I can only hope that 70:70 build is good bcuz i am gonna use my time to make 1... I am a pvp person but i am cursesd with loving magik and that is why i have a nuker that dies too easy against pure str... Bowers are my second luv and i dont want a pure str..... so we'll see
