I just made a Bard/Cleric. I love being a Bard but i can only heal and res as a cleric, if i would really want to be useful to a party i'd have to keep the cleric rod equipped(wich doesn't have any attack skills) to keep blessings on my team members, should i invest in some cleric attack skills for those moments i get attacked?(wich come very often)I don't want to be useless for attacking.

I think after a long time thinking, and playing a lot of the classes solo up to level 15, I'm going to make a Cleric/Bard.
Use bard for moving march, noise, and the mana regen.
Use Cleric for light armor, healing, res, and offering + damage spells.
Keep blessings on myself, keep moving march up at all times, use the mana cycle whenever I need it, and just spam magic spells over and over.
I think the goal of my build is going to be not to kill the fastest, but never to die. I'm not sure how well it will work because I have yet to see another post on cleric/bard build, but from just reading the skills and what minimal game experience I have, I think it should be a really good build. Light armor + defense buff from cleric and then going full int would give me some magic defense.
I'll have to give updates and let you know how it goes. What level is your character now? Bard mastery? Cleric mastery?

I never said that I had a lot of experience. I said "with my minimal game experience", minimal means small or little, I also said that I've only gotten a character to 15. Also I've read a lot of the forums, but no one talks about this build, probably because it isn't that good.

Oh. Then my bad, I thought you were being a prick saying something along the lines of "You don't know what you're talking about" in a semi flaming type way. I guess I read what you said in the wrong context.

Getting back on topic.....
Does anyone have any experience with this build? Or have any input on how well they think it will or won't work?

i just made a bard/cleric a few days ago, but i think it's great, the bard's mp recory skill comes in handy for parties, for the constant healing you would do and the constant attack skills your team does

i've also tried all the classes and to me the bard/cleric seems like the best combo, but that's just my opinion, but i have a question. Since i have the mp recovery skill at my disposal should i increase my str for the extra health, because although i'm a good adition to my team members, i die the easiest

never your fault. too many folks putting different meanings to the lines they say.
i think cleric/bard will be awesome if you want better survivability for solo training (instead of depending on parties). it's good enough for me as cleric does decent damage, got the skills to help keep a low HP char alive. bard for me is just for the speed. may get the other skills later. so its good for me as i dun need to be swapping weapons every now and then.

Just a little update. I made this and I am now level 12. From level 1-10 I just solo auto attack and heal when needed. When I hit level 10, I went and got a harp and got my masteries up to level 10 each (bard and cleric). I got all the skills that I needed from both trees and I grouped up. I went out of town and ran to the level 11-12 bear monsters outside of the EURO starting area. I almost immediatly got in a group with 6 other people. The group was;
Cleric/Bard (me) (10)
Wizard/Warrior (17)
Wizard/Warrior (14)
Warrior/Warlock (12)
Warrior ( 8 )
Another person but they didn't have any mastery picked (11)
Rogue/Bard (13)
I was able to keep march up, keep everyone healed (rez when people ran off on their own), and keep mana cycle going on everyone that was using mana. And I know some of you might think that "Why such a big group for level 11-12 monsters". Well we found a spawn area that spawned 3 party bears and 2 giants with a lot of champions and regular bears. It was a really fast spawn, lots of exp.
I used to play a Bishop in Lineage 2 (healer), and I played Priest in WoW (healer). Healing comes naturally to me when I play these types of games. I think playing Cleric/Bard was really really really fun so far. I hope it gets better with a bigger list of skills to use as I level higher. The group that I was in didn't speak that well of english, but I don't think anyone had to use any potions of any kind except when they ran away from the group. And I have yet to die on this character (I have died purposly but that was from level 1-9 I just suicide because you can rez where you die and you don't lose any exp, so it's an easy way to get full mp and half hp)

I don't really like healing, what really made me want to be a Bard was the mana recovery skill and the attacks, i usually fight with a harp, if needed i'll heal or res, then i switch back to harp, use mp recovery on any team members who need it, then me, and then i keep on fighting
