i am a lvl 44 glavie and i am wondering whether i should become hybrid and switch over to spear (only level int for a bit so as to reach 70:70int or what hybrid build is best for spear) or stay full str. i would like to pick the build that i will be able to kill people in pvp the fastest. please help, because i have seen hybrid spears and they own, but full str glavies own with their 20k+ hp. and i do not know which to choose :banghead: . also alreadt with the passive skills heuskal has with a major hp increase.

2:1 hybrid is too much a hybrid. They used to say full-str would be the best option but thats not what I think anymore. Just think about it in this way, two lvl 80 pure str glaviers with +7 deliver the same amount of damage, who will win? Crit? or Gears?

Ive seen stronger glaviers that are not exactly full str even though they claim to. Basically they add about 5 - 10 lvls of int, and then go full str all the way. That will give more damage while keeping the same average amount of HP.

Say a well-geared pure str lvl 80 glavier can get close to 22k HP without any problems, while a slightly poorer geared pure str lvl 80 glavier may hardly reach 20k HP. So you're actually lowering your HP just a little for extra damage.

*if you dont what I mean, and what I said you think is complete rubbish, then seek other advices, sorry but I am unable to show the real stats.

Str glavie is not gunna get worse. I would keep the build that u hav now because it is only gunna get harder to keep a hybrid in the future. Plus if u hav ever seen Ksro there are glavies everywhere; because they are one of the best all around builds.

Hybrid STR is the best build in SRO, take it or leave it.

Those who don't know haven't fought a well geared one that can use snow shield to its fullest potential and dish out more damage than a pure str with equivalent crits.

noooooo....pure strenght for glavie...if u wanna go str hybrid use bow....

pure str is for glavie......their dmg is decent and they crits like mad....

there is a big difference beetween full str bladers and full str glaviers....

bladers are realy hard to kill and they are having trouble to kill someone....they are best tankers...

as for pure str glaviers.....they are very good tankers....and their criticals are awesome.......u need a good glavie with nice crit...and u will be owning...they can kill pretty fast....of course it is hard when a glavie is fighting another glavie....also when str does atack other str...but glavie is awesome build...maybe they are weaker right now because bladers got division impotent and bleed status....but my opinion is that on lvl 90 blue pills for those stats will be more affordable...so glavie will be doing massive damage....

new ghost spear that is coming is having a damage as a nuke and it has 300%

Str hybrid can be a great build.
I know 4 capped glavie/bladers that are hybrid and kick serious ass. All the ones I know are hybrid by accident 10-30 points int. You ask them if they think being hybrid hurts them and most say "I don't know, it definetly doesn't hurt me". Yes all of them have nice gear, possibly better than there oponnents, but I am not talking about sun or anything just +4 or +5 with max blues. Oh and none of them even use snow shield to its potential, not sure why.

I also know some really weakass hybrids. I have no idea why they suk, maybe its a combination of gear and skill choice I don't know. But if you ask them why they suk the will say " I suck cause I am hybrid". IMO its just an excuse for being underfarmed and shitty gear.

Oh and just to be clear a 70:70 spear is like a str on steroids. You play it like a glavier but hit much harder. Yes you have less hp but if you use 40% snow shield you will tank as well as a pure str for those 2 min. Even though you are an int hybrid you have to think of yourself as a melee character in pvp, dont try to nuke them to death, cause it won't work.
