Hi guys, I'm in dilemma rite now cos i don't know which to choose. :?

I'm going to be lvl 90 soon and my build is Pure Str Glaive 90 Heuksal / 90 Fire / 90 Lightning / 30 Ice. :D

I'm using som glaive 76+6 and will get all my equipment and acc to +5 and i also will get chinese wedding dress (to get the blues).

Hope u guys can give me some recommendation on which to choose cos i wanna stay a live longer in pvp and stand better chance against rouge or warrior

Thanks in advance

go with Garment. Int damage is mad high in d9.

I'm same build as you, tried protector for a while, didnt work out vs. Nukers and Wiz

Garment
Garment also helps you keeping bit more mp left for snow shield and attacks

Protector, why? because I found out that on a full blues +5 protector and +5 accessory (missing 89/90 leg/chest/necklace)with snow shield on using xlarge pots nukers can't kill me (if are a nuker plz stop bi**ching, I kill those in my server)so if..you do find vs nuker with protector go for it since you will have more def. vs 2hand.
another thing...I have pvp a 2hand warrior with a +7 sun sword and it can not kill be through snow shield and I don't even use vigors..just switch a good 85+5 shield when they use dare devil,kd...like i said still missing 3 final tier pieces. even with snow u can still survive by switching to shield..and maybe use vigors.

Good tactic. However im 100% sure that the person just button mashes with 2h out.
Noob warriors are noob warriors. A smart warrior can beat almost anything. Killed a 90 glaiver with full armor +5 85-89 no 90 chest. Dull + Kd + triple swing + crits = game over. double 50% dmg multiplier and a crit? pwn.
Wish I could pvp you ^.^

i'd really like to see your stats. phy balance, hp etc..

afaik even with xl mp pots in prots is not enough to handle 20% snow sheild.

what % do you set your pots at?

im a glaiver also but being stingy so i only have a +3/4 set ^_^

On Topic: until i see proof that 20% snow sheild can be handled in prots (not saying it can't), stick to garms because those s/s ints nuke hard.

Either you get higher ice to move around in garments or stick with prot.

daredevil WILL penetrate that snow shield if snowshield is no where near it's level PERIOD. All that warrior has to do is fight you with your shield, SC and keep you stunned and dulled.

zz for a glavie to kill nuker they have to depend on crit same for nuker they have to depend on there attack hitting high and if they hit high like 2 times the 3 they can take u out with lion shouts and glavie do high damage and if crits is is a drag

lol i disagree.. Let's put it in this situation. If you're a 90Heuksal/Fire/Ligtning why would you go garment when you can already get lots of magic defense. IMO protector is better because not only it compensates for the loss of defense due to no ice buffs but it is also balanced. It gives a decent amount of magic defense too. And btw armor is the ugliest not protector. And i hate the looks of garment on the 9D.

im lvl 59 glavier, same build as you, changed to protector yday but mp is being a bitch to me now, run out sometimes and its already set to 76% :/, i prefer garment to cause of looks and cause im faster, and easier to handle snowshield to.
