I'm enjoying the server so far :) Soloed FGW 61-70 and went from lv66 to nearly 70 :sohappy:
Also really like the fact that you need to do jobs for money mainly. It has always been my favourite part of the game :D

EDIT: I have collected some Pages of Experience, but I can't find the NPC to exchange them at like said below. Can anybody help me out?

And then what? Grinding isn't entertaining at all, jobbing gets boring after the first week, same for pvp, unique hunting is the same thing over and over and besides that there's nothing else. This game has been squeezed dry multiple times, and I still stand by my statement that people should just let it die. There's nothing new, nothing interesting, and zero potential.

Finally someone who understands it. For some reason server owners think that high rates encourage people to play on legit servers. Maybe they do but only for 1-2 weeks, after that time everyone is capped FF with fb set and quits from boredom. This server is best example of that, grinding, farming and making items is 90% of this game.

But that's all this game is. Remember times of farming with sox bow in bandit's stronghold ? It took me few months.

To create endless amount of things to do is quite frankly impossible, unless you ofcourse have the source code or a massive community (early sro). Then you can do 1x rates and it will last long.

Unfortunately thats not the case with the pservers, my system should create enough content which will hopefully give us time to come up with more things to implement.

I always said, high rate servers die quckest lol. Sro should take atleast 1-2 months to cap, with further time required to be truly end game as a build, even then we should have quest chains, unique variety in bosses and raids, strong focus on random events such as collectable items, even down to unique avatar items, weapons and pets to stand out more. there really is no excuse for endgame fatigue in sro!

Venture did not die because of high rates.
Look at velestia that everyones praising. They do not have a single thing they promised in the thread working yet people are shitting over themselves saying "holy shit such an awesome pserver".
There you can cap within 2 days, it took people a week to reach the cap on Venture.
Venture didnt die because its shit, people left because they got upset with daily fixes and updates (which by the way theyre crying for on other servers' threads) and another server opened which allowed botting.

..Gotta love SRO. Hey, this all could have been prevented if the server files weren't released. npcdoom could have finished his server and ran the private SRO scene with Zelos.
Now there's just 1,000 shitty servers. Whoopie.

Would love to have seen esro 'zelos' release properly. I remember when i used to help rafa and eckorro back in 08 with the forums and design work, and tge occasional testing on tge server.
still, cant beat the old ecsro with sae's valhalla! till the gm's ruined it, that is! also, maybe now people will remember just how good the work fly did on salvation was!

The closest we have to that is Reborn... which is at a standstill.
Even if they do launch, it will fall on its face now, everybody has moved on and the SRO scene is too small now.
At most it would have 150 players, people would get sick of grinding and quit as usual. ZOMG NO 500X RATES?!

But yeah... SRF needs a server.. Revelations [I think?] was also like SRF's server and died pretty fast also.
