I'm going to vote yes. Better be sure that no duped items are left than continue playing only to find that a few items might have been missed.

Ha, funny you should say that. I was a rogue before and I thought about starting over with a new build too - probably a warlock. Unless you have any bad experiences with warlocks on this server? :)

It's either that, or a spear or s/s nuker for me. Thoughts? :sohappy:

I voted yes.

And I was also thinking about trying another build. :D
I love Warlock, that's not the problem. I just haven't played Warrior or Wizard in ages.

If there is a server wipe, we could try to setup some roles beforehand so we can easily party together?

Warlock is one of the best builds. :sohappy: It's a very 'active' playstyle though, both solo and in party. It's not a build where you can afford to be lazy. :P

In PvP you'll still face abusers of Ice/Fire Wall or those special universal pills (but I don't believe this server had those). If it does, then people will spam those to prevent the cooldown. Holy Word/Spell was only 50% here I believe, so that's ok. 100% like in iSRO is retarded.

Hey, this is Alweina.

It seems that the Yes will win, so time to start another build. Thinking about making Rogue/Cleric: fast to exp, usefull as a Cleric in pt, good at unique hunting, low SP requirement.

EDIT: or maybe a battle bard/cleric, seems fun too

btw, they shouldn't wait 2 or 3 days at all, either 1 day to get it goin' again or wait a full week to prepare a "re-launch"

. Last but not least, think about making the server be EU only.

Please consider these suggestions seriously, even though this server easily appeals to a much more old-school crowd and can easily retain it, if it's polished and you think just a tad bit about the marketing side of it.. How much better would it be, to be an auto-suficient machine that atracts new players and such. And it's only that, if you'd capture most of the old school players out there, even ones who bot, they love good competition, and that's what we old school hardcore legit players can offer, a core to keep your competiton going for ages.. You gotta do the rest though.

I was looking at SP requirements for the 2 builds I want to try: rogue/cleric and warlock/cleric.
It's around 700k for each.
What's the better option ?
- go gap 2 all the way, which bring 670k SP in this server, and then farm a bit at max level
- go gap 0 all the way (446k sp) and farm 270k at the end ?
- or gap 1 (545k, 170k to farm)?
- or farm before end cap ?

Since you're starting from scratch on a completely new server, I'd recommend "rushing" to the cap and farm there.

Primarily because you have to farm end-cap gear once you reach the cap anyway. So you're going to be grinding a lot no matter what. Also, there'll be a - presumably - pretty big wave of parties in the first week or two, so getting on that "level-train" would be neat too :)

Better let a gap grow when you leave mastery and skills on Lv 70-72. That way you can have Chaser PTs and make some easy sp in a few days.

mhhh still not sure what build to do....

Rogue/Cleric - best allrounder, nice at solo, partys always want it as Cleric, but i prefer Daggers in a pt :(
Glavier - *cold/fire epic at end game, nice dps, love it as hunter, never gets any pt :(

*i always played as a Warlock/Cleric or Nuker, im kinda tired of it.

Rogue/cleric really has a lot of options:
- able to hunt solo
- can join PT hunting as cleric or lurer. Although, I have no idea how you want to use dagger damage in a PT, it's too little damage output without AOE.
- fun 1 vs 1 free battle pvp.
- also good at ptpvp
Disadvantages:
- options are limited when playing pt dungeon - mostly cleric role
- if you play ptpvp with foreigners, you may be asked to play cleric role and nothing else. but rogue/cleric is also good as "free role" in ptpvp (you decide when you want to use cleric skills, and when you want to use rogue skills. same as like wiz/cleric in ptpvp - decide when you can use wiz skills and when cleric). there is no "rogue" or "wiz" role in ptpvp, of course.

Btw, rogue murder bug probably works in these files :D

Hmm I'm not sure about glaive/fire/cold... Don't take me wrong - weapon/fire/cold was one of the most popular build for chinese chars in isro and private servers, but my opinion is different. I could tell more later in guild chat, it's just too much info to be a forum reply.

Warrior/Clerics, make sure to wear Light Armor. I don't wanna see them in Heavy Armor.
