[Introduction]
The fastest way to train in SilkRoad Online is by completing its quest. The rewards are always worth the mindless killing or hunting item, but hey since you will be grinding anyway it wouldn`t make much difference right? However, the current quest guide on the site is unadequate as it only serves those that know it rather then newbies.

Having said that, i shall proceed with the quest walkthrough.

Note: Some of the quest names are made up by me because of the horrible translation, or the lack of knowledge. But the npcs will still be there, so you will be able to find it.

exp = Experience Points
spx = Skill point experience, not number of SP gotten.
gold= Gold.

Added this to clarify some questions that has been surfaced. changed all sp to spx because it has causing confusion with skill points rewarded and skill experience points rewarded.

[Level 3 Quest]
Quest name: Vanished Child
NPC: Rich Village Hwang Nodu [13]
Quest: Hunt Big Eye Ghost for Child's shoes and then return to Old man
Reward: 150exp、190gold

Note: A very simple quest, sometimes when you are lucky you can get it on the first kill and sometimes it takes ages.

Quest name: Weasel Sweep
Location: Eastern Gate Soldier Iyang
Quest: Kill 40 Weasel
Reward: 760exp、400gold

Note: Despite them saying to hunt Weasels, you can hunt Old Weasels as well. They are easier to kill and do lesser damage to you at level 3. So hunt them instead.


[Level 5 Quest]
Quest name: Concern of Yangikji
Location: Drug store Yangikji [16]
Quest: Kill 50 Water ghosts
Reward: 1500exp. HP Herbs x11

Note: At level 5, Water Ghost might be too difficult for you, so hunt Water Ghost slaves instead. They are weaker and you still get your quest log filled.

Quest name: Concern of Yanikji 2
Location: Drug store Yangikji [16]
Quest: Hunt Water Ghost Poison
Reward: 6600exp. 4000spx. Mp Herbs x50

Note: I forgot which level is that, but it will only be unlocked once you complete the first one. Anyone who knows this quest level please let me know.


[Level 7 Quest]
Quest name: Stone Ghost sweep
Location: East Gate Soldier Sanggwannam [12]
Quest: Kill 40 Stone Ghosts
Reward: 1800exp、750gold

Note: Pretty straight forward, just make sure you bring enough pots/herbs because they are hostile.

Quest name: Tomb Stone Scriptures
Location: Jaeunsa Temple Jeonghye [9]
Quest: Kill Tome Stone Ghost and collect 8 scriptures and return to Monk.
Reward: 4800exp、2100gold. Red Horse Scroll x1

Note: While Hunting at the Chin Tomb for Stone Ghosts, you can also kill Tomb Stone Ghost for the scriptures. Chances are that you will complete killing 40 Stone Ghost first, so head south to the Tomb where it`s infested with Tomb Stones.

Note2: For Tomb Stone Scriptures Quest, for every scripture tablet you acquire, you get 100 exp for each and 125 gold for each so the amount of gold and exp depends on how many tablets you get. For the completion part of the 8th scripture piece you get 10500exp and 3800 gold. [special thanks to AmazeMe]

[Level 8 Quest]
Quest name: Exorcism of Tree Spirits
Location: Exorcist Home
Quest: Collect 30 black blood of Yeoha
Reward: Lvl 10 weapon of what you are holding

Note: Killing Rotten Yeoha will also drop the black blood. Doing this quest IMO is useless because it doesn`t give experience. However, you have to train here anyway so just do it.

Quest name: Purification of the Soil Quest
Location: Exorcist Home
Quest: He will ask you to find Buddhist Monk at Jangan
Reward: 12700exp. 4500spx. 4000gold

Note: I never done this quest before, so i`m not sure. However this has been provided by AmazeMe, so i`m adding it here first.

[Level 9 Quest]
Quest name: Adventurer's stone
Location: Specialities Shop Adventurer Flora [18]
Quest: Collect 20 Adventure Stone from Bronze Ghost
Reward: 2500spx. 4000gold. Adventurer's Shift Scroll [Increases movespeed by 20% for 1hr] x1

Note: Another easy quest. I never tried hunting Stone Ghost for it though, i went straight for Bronze Ghost instead.


[Level 10 Quest]
Quest name: Bandit Archers
Location: Military camp Juho [5]
Quest: Kill 50 bandit archers
Reward: 3800exp、Mp Herbs x 22


[Level 12 Quest]
Quest name: Bandit's Operational Maps
Location: Military camp Juho [5]
Quest: Hunt for 20 Operational Maps from Bandit Archers
Reward: 28200exp, 1000spx, 8300gold

Note: Your first most annoying quest. The operational maps drops are like 1 in 10 and there are alot of people hunting Bandit Archers. But the experience is worth it. I just can`t remember how much. Also note, this quest will only be unlocked if you complete the killing

Note2: apparently on the quest details it says 282k exp. but it has been reported that you only get 28.2k exp. gah, suddenly it`s not worth doing.

of 50 Bandit Archers.


[Level 13 Quest]
Quest name: Bandits sweep
Location: Military camp Leebeakryong [4]
Quest: Kill 50 bandits
Reward: 5800exp. Vigor herbs x20

Note: Must complete Bandit Archer quest to do this. Also, you may kill Bandit Subordinates for this quest.

Quest name: Tiger's Grinding Tooth
Location: Specialties Shop Jodaesan [18]
Quest: Hunt for 50 Tiger Grinding Tooth
Reward: 15300exp. 5000spx. 4000 gold

Quest name: Tiger Hunting Competition x3
Location: Military camp Sonhyeon [3]
Quest:
[1st time] Kill 20 Tigers, 20 Young Tigers and 1 Tiger Champion
[2nd time] Kill 30 Tigers, 30 Young Tigers and 3 Champions
[3rd time] kill 50 Tigers, 50 Young Tigers and 5 Champions
Reward: 33000exp. 9550spx. 3600gold. 1 Tiger Scroll. [After completing 3 times]

Note: Your first repeatable quest. This quest can be done 3 times. Because of a bug, you will not be able to see it on the 2nd and 3rd time. But just keep hunting until your quest turns bar orange. 2nd and 3rd time requires more tigers to be killed. The last time will bag you the Tiger Scroll [Increase Damage by 20% for 1hr]


[Level 16 Quest]
Quest name: Cheolhyeon's anger
Location: Blacksmith Cheolhyeon [20]
Quest: Kill 200 Bandit Bowman
Reward: 26500exp. 10000spx. Transexual Tranform Item x1

Note: Your first mindless none-stop grinding quest. what more can i say? And a reward to allow you to change your sex. Hahaha.

Quest name: Recover stolen sword
Location: Hunter Guild Gwakwi [6]
Quest: Hunt Bandits to get back stolen sword
Reward: 18800exp. 5000spx. 5050gold

Note: According to Walter Sobchak, he says that the drop is entirely random. u might get it on your first try, or u might only get it 3 hours later. A hint from him, "Best(ofc imo) place to grind is Bijeoks den eastern gate"

Quest name: White tiger sweep
Location: Stable Macheonri [22]
Quest: Kill 40 White tigers
Reward: 5000exp、1700gold

Note: Simple and easy quest. This quest can be repeated twice.

[Level 17 Quest]
Quest name: Herb Delivery
Location: Drug Store Yangikji [16]
Quest: Deliever Herbs to the Npc at the Western Docks
Reward: 14400exp. 3600spx. 3800 gold

Note: Very easy quest with a lot of reward. Just get a horse and ride your way there. One note, you cannot use a teleport scroll while this quest is active in your quest log.

Quest name: Herb Delivery 2
Location: Drug Store Yangikji [16]
Quest: Deliver Herbs to both Western and Eastern Docks Npcs.
Reward: 18000exp. 4500spx. MP Pots x 125

Note: Stupid old man forgot to send this again, and sends you out once more for more experience and 125 MP pots. Senile bastard. And once again, no scroll allowed.

Quest name: Black Tiger's claw:
Location: Specialities Shop Adventurer Flora [18]
Quest: Collect 60 claws from Black Tigers
Reward: 60000exp. 15000spx. 15700gold

Note: Even though it says Black Tiger's fur, the item drop is claw. Just some stupid error, but don`t worry you`ll live.

[Level 18 Quest]
Quest name: White Tiger's Fur x3
Location: Specialties Shop Jodaesan [18]
Quest: Hunt 100 White Tiger Skin
Reward: 84600exp. 20000spx. 10900gold [After completing it 3 times]

Note: Despite the quest log saying that this quest can be done twice, it actually can be
done thrice. Third time requires 200 skin instead of 100.

[Level 19 Quest]
Quest name: Chakji Eye
Location: Western Dock NPC
Quest: Hunt 100 Eye from Chakji Worker
Reward: 112000exp. 25000spx. 28500gold

Note: Just hunt the Workers for it, don`t go over to the other side yet.

[Level 20 Quest]
Quest name: Chakji Sweep
Location: TungHun Western Dock NPC
Quest: Hunt 600 Chakji
Reward: 141000exp. 30000spx. 1 Reverse Returning scroll

Note: My weapon broke a few times before i could get 600 of those. Gay.

[Level 21 Quest]
Quest name: Ghost Bug Egg
Location: TungHun Drug store Doctor Bori
Quest: Hunt 10 eggs of Ghost Bug
Reward: 14800exp. 3800gold

Quest name: Leegak's Secret
Location: TungHun Speciality Merchant Leegak
Quest: Hunt 150 Ghost Bug Eggs
Reward: 150000exp. 30000spx. 37000gold

Note: This quest appears only after u complete the Ghost Bug Egg quest.

[Level 23 Quest]
Quest name: Trickery
Location: TungHun East Gate Moho
Quest: Hunt 200 flags of Hyungo Ghost Soldiers
Reward: 211000exp. 40000spx

Note: Hyungo Ghost DO NOT drop the flags. Don`t hunt them

Quest name: Hyungo Ghost Flag Hunt
Location: TungHun East Gate Hahun
Quest: Hunt 200 flags of Hyungo Ghost
Reward: 237000exp. 40000spx

Note: This quest is avaliable once you complete Trickery. The Hyungo soldiers do not drop for this quest.

Quest name: Demon Horse's Malice
Location: TungHun Stable Makgo
Quest: Hunt 60 Demon Horse
Reward: 19800exp. 4800gold

Bakemaster, the small ones aren't too bad, but you're gonna cry when Giant White Spiders freeze you while you cast your nukes. Also, the drop rate sucks. I got 70% of my level before I got all 210 webs.

the quests are just copied from a quest guide with you adding a little thing everything quest.

i hate people who do this.

oh and the "I have numbered the NPCs for easier searching." is so freiken funny.
