Tip: The wolf does NOT need to attack to get xp. My suggestion is to use defensive mode (page down) and attack things YOUR level as normal.

Defensive mode keeps the puppy by your side while you do all the attacking.

The wolf can be aggroed so be careful. Keep extra Recovery Kits (pills for horses, and now for wolves too!!) on hand.

Hope this helps. I was able to level my wolf to lvl 22 by doing this (I was attacking mobs 4 levels lower than me for a quest. Wolf was getting 2.5k xp per kill.)

Good luck and remember DEFENSIVE mode!!!! It'll save your wallet!!!

I need to find a quick #slot to hotkey my recovery kit. I was attackin giant, and some earth ghost was attackin my wolf (yes, bad area to start lvl a wolf :p ) but the time i tried to look for my kit it died :(

Before that, i killed 1 earth ghost, and my wolf went from lvl 1 to lvl 3 in a sec lol

yeah... its a good idea but i cant find a good spot for me =(...

i did the non aggro yetis at the south east portion of kakoram.. but an ishade one hit it, died from yeti aoe, and tehn a champion got it the third time...

then i tried the really really blue non agro penons... but a champion hit it again when i was porting... the penons were too blue to get any good exp out of it...

id take it to the cave... but i think i already know where taht story ends...

Train it on Earth Ghost/Meek Gunpowder to level 9.
Train it on Small Bunwang to level 13.
Train it on Mujigi/Ujigi to level 19.
Train it on Penon Fighter/Sonar until it is strong enough to grind with you.
Then train it on whatever you grind.

I did : decayed yeohas until 8
Chakji worker & ghost bug then hyungno until 18
Ujigis until 22
Penon after that, and that's what I'm killing at my lvl.
Pet is 25 atm.

It's really not worth teleporting to Jangan for the early stages, when all you have to do is kill 3 earth ghosts and it's level 5.

I bought mine before the new manyang quest so I started there. Once finished I walked to don killing everything in my path. When I arrived my pet was level 13. Did the taoists with him until he died at drop #19. Since then I've been grinding on penon fighters (still green for me).

b0x0rz is now level 27 after ~ 2-3 hours grinding with a gold ticket. He got ~ 4400 exp from each kill and it goes up with every level he gets.

First of all dont call these "puppies". They r not puppy or a dog. They r WOLVES :P And for lvling u must train your wolves with NPCs which r "not" aggressive. Which means not attacking till u attack it first. For exp I keep lvling it on Ujigi's and as I experience their exp effected by your sp farm. I mean my lvl diff is now 7 and so wolf get less wxp then normal. for lvls u can kill Ujigi, small bunwnag, gun meek gun powder chakji worker for lvling your wolf.
Mine is now lvl 37 %67.89 I think for tomorrow it will be lvl 40 and if it will grow up at lvl 40 :D
I hope it will.....

Wolves, also known as Canis Lupus are part of the Canidae family as are dogs. Therefore a baby wolf is a puppy. Calling it a Wolf Pup, or Wolf Puppy would also be correct.

I level my wolf on flowers outside hotan. They arent the best for EXP but even though they aggro, they usually go for me and not my wolf.

Even when they hit him, a level 21 wolf can tank 3-4 hits.

So is a seal pup a canid? Baby bats are pups. Are they Canidae? I had no idea that what made it "correct" to call the young of a particular species a pup was to have it belong to the family Canidae.

Also, there must have been some kind of mistake when names for baby animals were being handed out. You see, someone must have overlooked that sheep and goats belong to the same family, Cephodiea. A baby goat is called a kid or a billy and a baby sheep is called a lamb! The young of a llama, also of the Cephodiea family, is called a cria! It's almost as if the family of these animals had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with what we call their young. This must be stopped. I can't do anything. I'm just a average bio student. I implore you O mighty taxonomer, please end this travesty of calling young from the same family different names.

I was merely referring to the fact that wolves are similar to dogs, and therefore calling them puppies would be correct. Alas, I'm just a meteorologist, believe me if you dare. :P

And I was merely referring to the fact that the similarities between wolves and dogs have nothing to do with what their babies are called. I merely exemplified this by pointing out that that other species, which are just as similar to each other as wolves are to dogs, have young of different names. Therefore, you can't merely call a baby goat a lamb just because goats are similar to sheep.

P.S. Can you tell me a litte but about this whole El Nino thing? :P

I could but I think Chris Farley explains it best. El Nino means....wait for it........wait for it.....

THE NINO! lmao.

Seriously though it has to do with a change of ocean temperatures between Eastern Australia, and Western South America. SST's warm along the western edge of South America, and cool along the Eastern Edge of Australia. This temperature change affects the local pattern and then eventually the bigger picture. Here in the USA, for simplicity purposes, it affects our jet stream and overall pattern. El Nino will have different effects on our weather depending a lot on when we notice the changes south of the equator. For example we have rules governing "El Nino" Summers, winters, falls, and springs. Each one differs from the other and can really only be compared to the norm for that particular season. The same can be said for La Nina. Where El Nino is a warming of SST's off of South America, La Nina is the opposite. It's identified by cooler than normal SST's off of South America.

Ok, this is getting quite a bit off topic...so if you have any other questions..pm me.
