I was wondering. Since 70:70 build gives you quite a bit of mana is it worth it to get any nukes just for a starting skill. I dont know if it would do more than any of your other attacks, but was just a thought.

Yes nukes with this build are very useful. However they are not generally an opening move. Your bow skills have more range.
I have light nuke. Its damage is in between strongbow and antidevil damage. A few pages back i mention the damage output of all my skills. I mainly use it when leveling since it has the best splash range better than bezerker.
In pvp it is less useful, It does constant decently high damage, but I usually win in pvp because of crits. I still use it in pvp, but it wouldn't hurt you if you don't have it. I figure at the very least it confuses the person you are fighting.
Most people with this build don't have nukes, I am not sure why. It costs only a little sp to try the first book, if you don't like it then just stop leveling it.

Well bow skills are stronger.. because they have the chance of a crit !
Nukes arent really usefull but you can take it if you want... i did
To kill some noobs lol
Well btw im back ! has decided to spend some time in sro again with my 70:70 bow (lvl 42 farming)
Lol its a bit sad.. because i was the thread opener and now ? im still a low lvler lol while other ppl who test this build are already over 60+ >.<

I took it and when getting mobbed as I recently did fighting black robber bowman/black robbers....it was helpful in starting or finishing the damage on some of the gangbangers.
I ran out of arrows once ( ) not paying attention and I used the nukes to finish off the mob until I could scroll out.
I deleveled, didn't have my previous level weapon, my current wep was doing like 10 damage.....so nukes until i can scroll out......
Lightning nukes level 3 is what I have but I haven't leveled it anymore and usually use it as I stated above. Not bad to have.

i agree, ligtning nuke is VERy usefull in pve, however im NOT using the fire nukes and NEVER spamming 2 nukes in a row
in pvp i use mainly: strongbow>ant+zeker+ligtning nuke...and when i think i finished my apponent use combo
however if im fighting a higher level person, im using ice imbue and using arrow combo a LOT

this thread is pretty much dead now considering that the 70:70 bow build is not remotely close the highest dmg in the contest thread

I need to ask a question here about 80:80 bow ..
I need accurate answer plz ..
What's the biggest number of your lvl mobs can suround 80:80 bow and he can still handle them all with no fear of being dead (without cold imbue) ??
The answer is very important to me ..

im in protector lv 45, full sos except jewelry
i can tank 2 pt bungys easy, when using ice i can tank 3 (however 3+ there's a risk) with ice snow on...
i havn't really tried mugjij yet, i think it wouldn't be more as 2 pt's

you WOULD survive 4-5 normal monsters

And you speak about lvl 45 .. and the more lvl you will go the more monsters you can handle .. right ?
That's too great and answered my question .. thx ..

Meh, I have a full INT bow build and I love it.
Yea I know it's not a good pvp build, but that's not what I want it for. I don't want to pvp because it's gay on this game. Killing monsters with an INT bow is the sh*t.

lol nice Gimpy......standing around outside city gates pvping and wasting pots is certainly a complete waste of time in my opinion
But, now consider jobbing and if you lump that in with pvp (which it certainly can be player versus player) then no that part of the game is not a waste, it is what sets SRO apart from other MMORPGs............and you need a decent build to compete in the Triangular Conflict.

he could be a support build?
strongbow hit's harder than his nukes i quess? (confirm this please)

i think Jade is completely right about 80:80 hybrid bow.
I have lvl 76 80:80 hybrid clean(no sos.som.sosun) and i tottaly own pure str archers.glavies and bladers(with light imbue), and also i usually win in pvp with pure ints. I had pure str archer and he wasnt nearly as strong,
and ok i know crits matter but he dies like 3 skills so he doesnt have time to kill me. So i strongly recommend 80:80 hybrid bow its the ultimate build for bow and to be sure make one and see 4 yourself

i've got L74 70:70 bow build but it isnt as strong as wot urs is lmao, definately worth making if you hate doing rly low non-crit dmg or you can only afford +5 stuff definately 80:80 bow build, i also had pure str archer L77 but with all +5 stuff i didn't rly like him because the non-crit dmg cudnt rly scratch a glaive, had to depened on crits too much, but if u can afford SOSUN or +7 then maybe u cud try pure str..............

Like I said dont do much pot wasting at the gates but I did fight a 42+ glaver cuz he kept pestering me to pvp.
I have a sox bow 42 but my skills are 3-5 below my level. This dude had a +4 moon glav but I don't know what his level or skills were but at least his level was 42 to use the glav. Although there are a ton of factors to consider when pvping, buffs, buff levels, skills, pot size, auto-pot level, blues, wep, armor type and stats (sox pieces) and on and on, mastery levels, etc..........
All that to say I beat him 4-6 times - easily with strong, anti, combo (imbued), dont remember but a couple of crits but quicker with them. He beat me once with double stun and the other with a little splash light nuke from others nearby. So I am content to continue with the 70:70 build since my gaming is 90% pve and 10% jobbing (and then in groups with guildies)
So can I pvp str glaivers my level? probably so
Can I beat other builds my level? sure, I can die too
How will it change when I get to lvl 7x? dont know hope I get there without starting a new character after getting bored with this one

Ahhh I see............so it isn't standing outside the gates of DW wasting pots? ....oh please let me in on the secret don't make me wait another 30 levels......
I can see where jobbing, job wars, union/guild wars will be very different the higher your level but the basic stand outside city and hit each other till one dies is BORING and I can't see how much different it can be even at 72+ except you shouldn't die as much since there are few above you than below but even then......but that is simply my very own opinion.

Hmmm, the perfects masteries for this build now is pachon, light and fire 80 and cold 60 (couse 40% snow shield), right?
Question:
What will this build do with his masteries when cap rise to 90?
