Hi. 1.) Great guide! Looks awesome and is very helpful 2.) Warlock/Cleric - Robe or Light Armor? I had a Warlock/Bard on Rome, but now i'm on Venus. My Warlock/Cleric is almost lvl 40 Some parties need me as a Cleric (got only 3 heal spells, but thats enough^^), so i think about switching from Robe to Light Armor. Pro: Better phy. defence + some passives when i'm a Cleric Contra: Yeah, i don't know... So, should i wear Light Armor or Robe?

Great guide, thumbs up..
I've noticed something funny about absolute damage tho. The damage from absolute damage actually seems to depend on levels. I messed around with Over Healing in pvp... It seems to do the written amount of damage to everyone around your level or below it. But. When I used it on players that are much higher level than me, the damage is only a fraction of what it's "supposed" to be. It's always the same damage on a certain level character. When I'm level 28, I hit a lvl 66 player with over healing for 62 damage (for example) and this is the case with every level 66 player I hit. The higher the target's level is the less damage is done.. Of course I might be wrong but it seems to me that absolute damage is not really that absolute.
What is great about warlocks is that they gain zerk illegally fast. I took time with a watch when I was soloing some mobs. I could spend more time in zerk than non-zerk. 1 minute zerk and 45 seconds to fill it up again. What's annoying is that the rod loses durability damn fast.

when I'm grinding I only use 1 Dot, so that way your rod will last 2x longer, 2 Dots will strip your dura very fast. However, the first thing I add to my rod after I lvl is dura, so that helps in bringing up the grind duration

I didn't use 1 weapon elixir on the rods till 72 rod. I was just buying premade +3 rods, pimp them with max durability and nothing more. Now I made a sweet 72+5 rod mag att & reinf. +60% full blue +100% all and i got 2nd rod as a backup for a long grind session.
When we grind hardcore @ generals I spam as much curses as I can, spam the shadow armor too, and I get zerk every minute. When the zerk is finished I get 3 balls from the next zerk immediately. (not always)
Warlocks should always go in 8men parties for maximum effect of their skills.
And spam those keys, cause warlocks have instant casts, so most of them are slacking. We are the most agile ints in this game.

As far as PvPing wizards goes, it can be a little frustrating because they always tend to use invisibility. A good skill against wizards is Reflect. If a wizard nukes you and the damage is reflected back to them, they will most likely die too. Also, at level 76 you will get another stun skill so you'll have a better chance at stunning people. Also, you can always use Bind from the Cleric tree. Once you bind the player you can start debuffing, curses, or even Offering.
But also definitely improve your set. =]

No, Heaven Flash can be resisted by Holy Word/Spell of the corresponding level and it can still fail to bind sometimes. I personally liked having Shield Trash because it's useful in PvP. =)
It depends on how you want to play. You can always get rid of it in the future if you don't like it.

Level 76 now and still going strong I decided to begin wearing Light Armor. Nukers, unlike what you said, do not pose much of a threat; their nukes cast slow enough that you have enough time to cast both stun and sleep before they nuke you. Even if they nuke you, your high magic defense will save you from being 1 hitted, which is more than enough time to heal or re-stun them before the next nuke. The STR builds, on the other hand, have the capacity to one-hit you and still take a lot of punishment, so they are the ones to be worried about. Most Euro INTs can't survive a knockdown and stab combo from a blader without good luck or vigors. Bowers can Strong Bow from afar and kill that way. Glaivers have the annoying Soul Spear which is just as lethal, and Ghost Spear can kill with a critical. I'm not even going to start on Rogues and Warriors. To counter this, like I said, I began wearing Light Armor for the physical defense bonuses. I don't have my full set yet and it's already helping more than robes did. I just thought it was something worth mentioning. EDIT: The only real problems with light armor are that it makes you run slower and use MP faster. There was no way around it, so I began adding more MP and INT to equips. And is there an effective use for Dusk Armor? It would be useful except for the fact that you have to stand close to someone to use it. And you don't want your opponent to be right next to you. I can only think of using it in a mobby training place like Generals.

@Advancechao: Dusk Armor is a good skill if the enemy has to come to you, like Bladers or Warriors. Just as a side note, I picked light armor for the Cleric passives as well. In parties, it's nice to have defense like a full STR build. About Dusk Armor, yes it can be useful but I see myself using it more for PvE. In PvP, the opponent is often dead from a distance if you attack first. But I can see how it's good for the extra damage; it would add up to 3k+ per second along with DoT skills.

A pure STR Chinese character has about 19-22K HP at level 80. Cleric absolute alone will not kill them. Curses can damage them more, but I do not think it's still enough to kill a pure STR player. While this strategy may work, you can also get away from the opponent's range so that he has to leave the Ice Wall in order to damage you. Once they are out, you can commence casting debuffs and stuns on them. Do not try to kill the opponent if you are in their range and you cannot interrupt their skills (stun, slumber disabled). Since you are INT-based, perhaps hybrid, you will still receive a lot of damage and you are helpless to stop their attacks because Ice Wall has disabled them. Create techniques of your own that you might be able to use in situations. It helps a lot. =]

Well you think if i try to crash it will be better ? , because i don't like running away from them and wait for them to cancel it lvl 29 icewall , 1567 HP ( easy to break with 9d AXE DAUL or any warrior with skills lvl 10 ) lvl 60 IceWall , 5368 HP I think with 9d nice % axe daul and +5 or +7 Can break it fast ( putting bless but i may die , don't know ) and can with any warrior break it fast And ofcorse with nice str in the set from alchemy Lvl 89 IceWall , 13710 HP :/ , This is what i call it Kill them under the ice or run =P but bows won't do ice 90 most of them 30 and some 60 Nukers no problem imo i think if i can tank on the Icewall lvl 29 - 60 with bless and 9d but don't know about i will die or not .... Btw i try Shield Trash it's very bothering for Warrior no matter they have holy spell or not and the bladers with Glaviers ofcorse Your Guide really help me +1

hmm i really like this guide. good job. warlocks are strong players but you have to be quite skilled to play one effectively. unfortunately so far i haven't encountered any 'good' warlocks ^_^ and yea shield bash is very useful (atleast for me ) if stun fails and they are right on me, just bash them away and then quickly cast debuffs+curses+trap and sleep.

Bandwidth exceeded on my file host and I no longer have my Photoshop files for the guide haha. =[ The image guide will be back up once the file host resets my bandwidth. :>
I will be making a new guide when I have the time, and it will probably be the last guide I make before I officially quit SRO.
Is there anything you guys would like me to add to the guide?
Also, would anyone like me to make another guide for another build or something else? =)
