Full int with bad Gear = One hit

Does'nt matter

and btw i always pvp with Higher lvls than so it's hard to sleep :D

and don't have the second stun i will get it lvl 76

And who in the video got 10K Hp with nice Gear , if he got bad gear he will die much

you made this guy but ur sign says ur a warrior/cleric..
so, how to you get info for more advanced levels?
do you advice going warrior/warlock? maybe warrior cleric :s

I do have a high level Warlock/Cleric, a Rogue/Bard, Wizard/Cleric and Warrior/Warlock. My Warlock/Cleric was the first Euro character I made and I spent quite a lot of time messing around with the skills lol.

I don't really like telling people which build to chose. I like to guide them in the right direction with whichever build they'd like to play with. Selecting a build is a personal choice. =) I might enjoy it for a number of reasons, but you might dislike it for other reasons as well. Chose a build that best fits your playing style! :D If after you have selected a build you need help with decisions to make for the build, ask me and I'll be more than happy to help you.

And thanks, glad you enjoyed the guide. =)

hey Fug_Dup...i got a question to ask u...why do u have such great passion on warlock when they realli suck at damaging? like i have a warlock myself & i went warlock cuz ur guide looks the BEST compare to the other ones (others are so dry & ****)...however the warlock realli pisses me off when grinding...comparing to wiz & rouges (well i dunno about other jobs)...they dun even have a chance...my friend has a wiz & his guy can kill 3-5 mobs that's 2-3 lvls high then him with 1 AoE nuke...while my warlock takes "forever" to kill 1...same as my other friend that has a rouge...he basically can kill 2-3 lvls higher mob in split sec & and also can tank since rouges are pure STR...basically they are the OWNAGE in euro characters...since they are so hella STRONG...why bother making some characters that can't OWN in the game?

PS: my warlock is onli lvl 23 tho (his build followed everything on ur guide)...well i dunno if he might get stronger later on...but wut i see right now...HE SUCK! his one and onli NUKE right now can onli do around 500+ & my friend's wiz (lvl 23 also) can do at least 1.5k+ with his WEAKEST NUKE & even his NORMAL ATTACK can do 350+ (rmb. my NUKE can ONLI do 500+)

The Warlock class is definitely not recommended to those that want to do the best damage. The Warlock class is not a damage-dealing build. The advantage of the Warlock build is having the ability to torment your enemy with various curses and statuses so that it becomes almost impossible for them to even touch you. You will notice later on that although your Wizard and Rogue friends may level fast, they will also die in PvP just as quickly. You are not giving the build a chance. You're only level 23 lol. You haven't experienced any of the perks of being a Warlock because of your low level.

To answer your last question, "why bother making some characters that can't OWN in the game?".. Silkroad is not just about being the best or being unbeatable. It's about having fun and enjoying the journey to obtaining a high level. The Warlock class is one of the more complicated builds in the game because it's not a simple 'spam 1-2-3/repeat' build like the rest. You actually have to plan your next move and think about the skills you're using against your opponent. I've already had a high level rogue and I've had a high level wizard. While these two builds no doubt have very impressive offensive damage, they die quite often because of their low defense levels. I'm not here trying to convince you to make this build, no, I am simply passionate about the Warlock build because it is a build I enjoyed playing and I wanted to pass my knowledge on about to build to other people curious about trying it. Like I said before, it is not a damage-dealing build, and if that's what you interpreted from my guide then I apologize. :)

Hi Fug_Dup, first I want to say is seriously really good and I can tell that you spend lots of time doing it. I wasn't here to complain or say anything negative about your guide and I didn't misunderstood that warlock is a damage-dealing build from your guide. I knew warlock was not suppose to deal impressive damage, but maybe because of the comparison with the wizards/rouges in Silkroad, it made warlock look pretty bad in the beginning. Well, I'm here to ask some more questions and I hope you don't mind me being so "anonying" =P.

First, I want to know if usually for warlock, do I curse them first, then nuke or nuke first then curse? And when do you actually use debuffes when PvEing?

Second, I saw lots of YouTube video of warlock/cleric PvPing and they actually seem invincible, it seems like people just stand there and let you kill them. I want do know in Silkroad, is it actually true or did the people just record the ones that they owned?

Yeah I understand what you're saying, and I agree that it can get pretty frustrating when you're not able to 1 shot mobs your level because of the low damage. Don't worry though, as you learn more curse skills through your levels you will level much easier. I would usually pick a nice isolated area to train in and go around cursing the mobs. They'd be getting hit constantly and die before they could get to me.

The first thing you ever do in PvP is debuff the enemy. If you cannot (they have Holy Spell activated), go to your curses and nukes. Stun only when necessary.

While I can't speak for the video creator, but I can personally say that this is usually the case. A Warlock's survivability is all due to the skills. The skills interrupt the opponent so much that it becomes almost impossible for them to attack you, and when they do attack you a simple stun or slumber can stop them immediately. Refer to the guide to know when to use these skills though. It's very important that you time them well. =)

And no you're not annoying lol. I'm glad to answer any questions you have regarding the build. =)

any tips on how to fight someone with ice wall on? can't stun and debuff. only nuke and dots.. :(

i think i read something telling you to run xD
then they have to deactivate the ice wall to get u in their range..
if they do it again run again :D
if they dont go after you then just rest and heal ^^

so it would result to a draw then..
i pvpd with a chinese s/s few days ago. he put ice wall on so i tried to dot and nuke. but then he outnuked me. :(

i saw Astra pvping a chinese s/s n with ice wall on. he tried to break the ice wall using xbow. but then it took too long and when the wall breaks the chinese s/s just casts it again. and sometimes while breaking the the wall with xbow, the opponent phantoms toward him then kd then stab etc.. :?

Warlock/Cleric isn't the best dmg dealer but you got SO many advantages.

1.Shield - Good BR & takes less dmg (phy/mag def.)
2.Control the enemy (Stun, trap/sleep FTW)
3.Absolute dmg
4.Bad Statuses / Extra dmg from the curses /(Dull, Bleed, Poison)

So, if you gain control over your enemy... enough said.

I soloed a giant Wing Tribe (haven't tried a Pt. Giant yet) @ lv80 with 3rd tier 8d gears on me with no problems. (7.7k HP)

And about the damage part...
I was soloing Shaitan for 10-15mins while my party was watching all the time.
The funny part was, I was using my old 76+3 rod...I forgot to switch it with my new 80+3 rod on the additional bar...otherwise i would have killed him in less than 10mins. (plus my curses are still in mid 70's)
His spawns came out only 3 or 4 times, cause he was sleeping most of the time.

One strange thing going on these days, I see this as a miracle, when I participate in a pt, the whole pt zerks every minute. I'm like a VIP in parties these days. (Who doesn't want to zerk all the time?)

So, in short terms, if you want to play this build you need:
-fast fingers
-hierarchy of skills (order of casting)
-switching between F1 > F2 all the time (my playing style)

everybody knows warlock is not a damage dealer.. so why not go hybrid? :S
that extra hp will not mess up ur atacks and you will have more hp : s
if ur nukes suck i think is good to have good hp, curses and debuffs dont use the mag balance (i think)

there is another question from me as i'm 87 now with my wiz/lock i have a question about holy spell. can warlock debuff opponent when opponent has disease on? did any1 managed to do that? thank you (btw i'm going full int it is pain in the a$$ :D)

They can do plenty of stuff in parties. In PvE, the main job of a Warlock is to debuff monsters, making them easy to kill. They function well in a party that can attract a lot of party monster spawns. Since they acquire the area DoT and debuff skills after 60, a good way to use them is to use Vampire Kiss to cause mass disease, and then debuff the monsters with Physical and Magical Ravage. After that, use the area DoT spells like Dark Decayed and Dark Breath to add more damage and stats. Keep in mind that they shouldn't really be attacking, because wizards should be pounding away at the debuffed monsters. When I act as a Warlock in a party, I rarely attack because the debuffed monsters die almost instantly and the wizards require your help in debuffing another big pull. In all, it's a pretty skillful job that you have to undertake.

In PvP, they can do all of this and can also use Wrath Daze to stun three people at once and Advanced Reflect to help your opponents kill themselves. I feel that they should debuff the nukers first (since intelligence builds are easy prey for Warlocks) and then concentrate on strength based builds.

I believe that Holy Spell renders all debuffs completely useless except Disease and Panic, but it all depends on the level of the Holy Spell. For example, I'm assuming that you have the 9th degree debuffs, then your debuffs still have a chance to penetrate the 8th degree holy spell. But if the Holy Spell is 9th degree as well, all of them are guaranteed to fail. The only thing you can do, in that case, is Disease, Panic, and DoT spells. Plus Stun always works.

Just putting Bless And Healing cycle then Attacking Normally will Do Well

Don't Forget he is Int too :)

U can Put bless and Dots then change to cleric for more deff and kill him with the absoult dmg , it's easy

But Good Still No Full Str Bower with High hp do it with me, they all try to KB IN THE FIRST SHOTS xD

Ice wall is a pain in the butt all you can do really is DoT him twice and run out of range, stay warlock and wait for it to go down and phantom to you then stunn and debuff before the dam thing comes up again, then nuke freely or just dot and run away again. Who said pvp had to be done standing still? people dont stand still in fw that is for sure.

You can never ever Do Dmg to Ice wall By Mag. Attack , it can't be break by the mag. attack that why Fug said to run away

I said run away because they have to cancell the ice wall to chase you, its not a mobile defense skill. You can do three single debuffs to a china user before they can put it back up since it ice wall isnt an instant cast skill. And you can still nuke thru the ice wall you just cant status thru the ice wall.


And there is no reason to get mad on a forum Del Piero just because thier opinion differs from your own.

thnx for the help guys. :) that is what i really had in mind. just dot and stay away. :)

btw anyone ever fought with warrior/clerics or any other chars with sub cleric? man they are annoying to fight with. :( hard to even put disease using vampire and without that it would be really hard for me to debuff and dot. :(
