Dark Decayed gives Bleed Status, which is useful versus Holy Spell and so is Dark Breath (Dull Status). Also, you don't need to level the single-target DoTs to get these so it saves SP. MP-wise, it's not that much and you'll rarely use them so it's alright.

Warrior gives you enough physical defense passives so you really don't need a Heavy Armor set for tanking STRs. Besides, you won't really need to tank high damage with Warlock debuffs.

Warrior/Cleric and Warrior/Warlock are both very good combat builds. Both have their weaknesses and strengths. Warrior/Cleric focuses on defense while Warrior/Warlock focuses on offense. Decide how you'd like to play your character and you'll know which one to choose. =)

Well really, you can't debuff mid party easily because besides aggro loss you lose buffs on everyone which is bad as well. Robes or LA are better party wise later because of the Magic Damage dealers later or mixed attacks on Roc. Solo pvp, this is an amazing build. I love it to death. Im curious what you do for Team PvP? I had dilemmas with it honestly. Especially facing chinese, because without my wheel bind they'll be tough to take down yet if i do that I can't have buffs on my party members. The times when I need to debuff, PvE usually, I work it in for a Party Giant by having a bless spell cast and then quickly throwing on the debuffs, switching and rebuffing/vital. If you have a good party you can get it to work without anyone dieing. Great guide though. I was questioning how good a choice it was for me as the Cleric subs always throw on a Holyword and seems warlock is useless. I forget what still works through it, and the DoTs can help as well. Thanks for sharing your wisdom

just a lil point i would like to know
my chance in using robe for this build is zero, because i am one of the players who play in the csro version and pvping seems to lack out there,so should i stick with the heavy armour or go to the light armour or even the robe choise?

Really don't know what you're complaining at, I can see it everything.
@ot: It's a neat guide. Farming a a warrior/warlock right now, but I'm probably going to be just one-handed sword and sub. Maybe if I'll have time to farm more I'll get the two-handed skills as well. ^^
Great guide, the only guide of this format until now. (there is one I believe, but it's not as detailed as yours is). Good job.

Great guide, the only guide of this format until now. (there is one I believe, but it's not as detailed as yours is). Good job. I found 2-hand sword to come especially handy when fighting those with more defense (i.e, sun gear or STRs with Snow Shield) and it just made things much easier. =) 1H Sword is awesome though.
& thanks, glad you enjoyed the guide. =)

Hi! i wanna know what you think on dual axes/warlock, cause i dont like 1-h (just because) and im planning on going 2H-D-Ax/ Warlock i think axes are for fast pvp due to the high att rating they have, so if a crit comes out anyone is dead

I tried it at one point but I didn't have enough spots on my bars to hold skills for all 3 weapons + Warlock haha. There's an interesting advantage to having Dual Axes and that is being immune to statuses through the Dual Axe passive, which is necessary since you do not have a Cleric sub. So yeah, it's pretty nice and the skills are super fast so theres that advantage as well.

the guide looks great, but you might want to add a little bit more on party playing. Try to go into detail about aggroe, your role as a lurer or tank, and etc. All that fundamental stuff.

Not bad at all. However, from what I have seen warrior/warlock fails harder than warrior cleric in group vs you PvP. Can't tank without skins. Can't debuff with skins. Bad times. I think. Btw...Warrior/cleric is much better in 1v1 IMO, because the near infinite tanking. Holy spell makes warlocks pretty harmless. Axes can inflict bleed, and shield trash dull, daredevil->turn rising->Triple swing will kill nearly anything. Again, this is all my opinion. Don't flame me for disargeement please

I have encountered this countless times. Either XIII or ______PRINCE come out to job .. and it changes the whole mini war. In 1 vs 1 pvp .. same shit. Pvp and EXPERIENCED WarrioLock and you won't be able to beat him. Sure you might say WarrioCleric is much better .. but has it's cons too. We still have all our power .. as do you from the Warrior series. Only difference is you have defensive and healing skills .. where as we have immobilization skills .. and debuffs .. but your holy ward takes care of most of them. I have sadly not seen any good WarrioClerics on Olympus since I came back over a month ago . .so maybe some random lvl 90 boon can change my mind .. but as it stands, an EXPERIENCED WarrioLock is the best build for pvp. Just PM XIII or ____PRINCE and they will be more than happy to show you ;p. Or you can wait a month till I start leveling mine

Thanks for a rather unbaised response, I expected someone to come out with the classic, "holy spell 2 dosn't mean full immune" argument. If your at all decent at weapon switching, integrity gets rid of it quickly. The only threatening status afaik is the one that f*cks up your pots.

axes dont work as well as you think against debuffs...tried n tested
regards to warrior/locks and warrior/clerics...imo warrior/lock is more fun and challenging than warrior/cleric
at least u dont need 5 mins to finish off a blader!
and warrior/rogue just pwns warrior/clerics 24/7 with or without skins/bless.
in regards to warrior/lock vs warrior/cleric matchup - a warrior/lock can win if he times his moves right -> eg. daredevil -> stun -> cast panic, then sudden twist or just straight daredevil again -> turn rising -> triple swing/bash...thats quite alot of back to back heavy damage and lock combo for any warrior/cleric to pot up for surviving.

Holy Word definitely makes Warlock sub a lot less useful compared to someone without it, but what I like about this guide is it gives you a strategy against someone with it. The curses, wheel bind (one that fcks up your pots ), Stun still pass through it which can still make a difference in a fight. I really love the build though, its just so much fun to use and immediately became one of my favorite characters
