I wonder if they both share the same cool down time? cuz if not, that means u can pretty much stun ur oppenent all the way till he drops dead. same applies to slumber and deep slumber?
PS: There has been a bug regarding the Expensive Pills, we now that they have about 15 secs cool down, well, the bug makes u use several pills at the same time, then the cool down starts, I dunno how exactly its done, but's lame...one of the many aspects where joymax fails. The two stun skills have separate cooldowns. =) The slumber skills do not.
This guide is pretty outdated but I listed that bug and how to get around it in another guide, along with several other bugs.

Great guide, I'm hoping to make a warlock soon. Just one problem... Which warlock skills do you need/max? Do I max all the skills? (if I do that totals up to 500k - 700k sp needed. Don't remember the exact number. So farming more SP for a sub-mastery seems like a waste of time.

Thanks again . Yw! But please be aware that the SP requirements and skills are outdated and were made for 80 cap so take that into consideration when farming.
Enjoy the build!

810k sp is the average amount for this build with cleric's defense and str/int buffs. (my choice) If you cut down some SP from the cleric skills (buffs) you can lower the number by 20-30k. If you wanna be safe with SP you can hit 850-900k skill points for any case.

Very nice guide, helps me out a lot. I just made a lock/cleric and this is the best guide I have seen for it.

I didn't read through all the pages except for the OP with the guide in the spoiler, but I have a question. How do the Vampire touch and kiss or whatever it's called spells work? The description in-game is a bit confusing. Can I cast it and run away or do I have to stay nearby? Do I have to attack it? Do I cast it before the curses or after?
Et cetera.

Et cetera. Vampire Touch and Kiss are two related attack spells that are highly important to warlocks. They both do absolute damage and have the ability to heal you at a set amount (usually a few thousand HP at higher levels)- Touch is a single target attack with a cooldown of 5 seconds while Kiss is an area attack that hits five targets and has a cooldown of 20 seconds. Vampire Kiss obviously heals more HP than Touch. Both of these skills give the godly Disease status, which gives you a 100% debuff success rate whenever the enemy does not have Holy Spell/Word. Since they're attack spells, you have to bind them to a key and use them actively (they are both ranged, by the way). Vampire Touch is pretty straightfoward since all you do is absolute damage the target, gain a bit of HP, and give the target disease. Vampire Kiss hits in a 15 meter radius around the target that you picked. For example, if there is a mob of six monsters in a little group, you can pick one of them and use Vampire Kiss. Five monsters in total will be hit; the monster you picked will receive the most damage, and each other monster receives gradually less damage. The sixth monster is not affected. The most effective time to use these leech skills is before anything else. All pvps should start with Touch at the very least because your survival depends on the vital Disease status. Without it, half your debuffs will fail (even if they state an 80% success rate) and you will get raped pretty darn quickly. After you get disease on your target, move on to stunning, debuffing, and cursing the enemy, and nuke after all that is done. The aim of warlock pvp is to only take one real risk: the probability of Disease, because it alone dictates how your pvp will turn out. PS: Although Vampire Touch and Kiss are unique because of their HP leech quality, don't expect them to replace good, old-fashioned cleric healing and potions. It is extremely difficult to use them in direct response to a strong attack because they have a small cast delay. Make sure to bring Vigors or cast Recovery Division if you have it!

That was a really helpful writeup! Thanks so much! I'm still low level so most all my curses work without using Disease (I'm talking about PVE obviously). But this helps me to consider later on when I need to gap a bit and my curses probably won't work on certain leveled monsters, so disease status will be more important. I was actually considering going bardlock, but this guide convinced me to do lock/cleric because I'll need a lot of healing and warlock attacks are DoT, except the nuke I guess. Thanks again.

So here's what I decided.. I'm going to update this guide first and then later I'll make the Bard/Warlock guide. Reason I'm doing this is because I have not yet experienced Bard at 90 so any insight I can give to Bard/lock guide will only be theoretical. So Bard/locks, stay put, I'll make a guide as soon as I play around with 90 bard skills. New Warlock/Cleric guide should be completed soon. Finally decided what style I wanna do this time.
BTW, if anyone has suggestions of what other information I should include in the new guide, now is the time to let me know. XD

hmm suggestions: -add the lure feature of mirage/phantasma -add the fast-zerk feature =) -add the pill bug and ways to counter it -add all the other anti-status buffs/passives besides Holy Word/Spell and mention which of the debuffs go through (dual axe - passive, rogue-buff, cleric la/robe-passive) -maybe add the possibility of going 90lock/80cleric/10warrior with pros and cons -mention the 9gap farming problem with warlock (you are able to debuff s*** and have to act as a healer) -information about the usefulness of area-debuffs/curses in group-pvp -information about the usefulness of short sight in pvp at all
i hope it is not too much =D
