Ok im lvl 20 and a lot of people say doing any job at lvl 20 is not a good idea because you are too weak.
However trading at lvl 20 is not that hard if you play it right.
I have had a success rate of about 80~90%. The very first time I tried a trade run, I didnt bring enough horse pots and I died.
What you need:
1. All your gear and weapons, mp and hp pots, etc
I prefer to wear protector armor because it makes u run faster and helps when fighting NPC thieves who have imbue but its ur choice.
2. At least 25 Horse pots for one trade run.
I recommend large horse pots, yes they can be expensive but the profit from trading is greater.
3. At least 3 transport scrolls
In case ur horse dies, summon a new one.
4. A trader flag
The strategy:
1. The most important thing to remember is not get off your horse in dangerous places and watch out for other people. Some people may genuinely want to help you, others want to help for money. Some people simply follow you until you die or something so they can take ur stuff.
Remember: STAY AWAY FROM OTHER TRADERS. They will spawn high level thieves and 1* pop you. You can see them easily with their transport on the road, avoid them at all costs even if it means running into a horder of animals. You can always use horse pots to maintain your horse health.
2. You can get off your horse and fight and kill up to the tiger area. When you start seeing tigers, get on your horse.
3. From this point on DO NOT GET OFF THE HORSE. If you see something on the ground, you can still pick it up on your horse.
4. You will accumulate mobs and NPC thieves. DONT get off, simply tank and use horse pots when your horse's health drops low.
5. NEVER go on the road because there are many monsters there and most people walk along the way.
6. Go to chinese eastern ferry, remember to ride through the bamboo trees on the side. Go only to the chinese eastern ferry because the other ferry is too hard.
7. On the other side, this is where is starts to get hard because of the high lvl monsters. You will need horse pots more.
8. Walk along the path, there will be anumber of people training, ride towards them since they are killing the monsters and will help you. Other than that, keep your guard on and if they are trading or have job suits on get AWAY!
9. Navigate your way around the monsters. Watch for hyungno ghoast soldiers and devil bugs as they will attack you.
10. Go through hyungno homeland. This will be hard as many monsters and NPC thieves will attack you. Watch your horse health and tank.
11. Once out of the hyunno homeland, travel over the sand dune hills and not on the road. Here, watch out for earth ghosts. They hit the hardest so avoid them as much as you can. If you get one on your tail, just keep eating your horse pots.
12. If you cross the sand hills and not on the road, you wont see demon horses, which are the ones that will blow your head off very quickly. Keep going to Donwhang.
13. Yay your in Donwhang! Sell your stuff and get the profit!!! Pay any hunter that helped you accordingly.
14. Restock everything and go back the Jangan the same way doing the same thing.
So here are the most important things I want to stress.
1. Dont get off the horse in high lvl areas.
2. Stay off the road.
3. Be wary of people that follow you.
4. Be wary of other traders and avoid them at all costs.
About the time when you play...
1. Playing when theres a lot of people means that you can count on people to kill mobs for you, but there is a higher chance of bad people and high level traders that can kill you.
2. Playing at like midnight means that there are almost no people, so less chance of getting 1* popped, but you will have to support urself and tank through all the monsters.
I hope this guide has helped any newbie traders like me. Experiment around and maybe you'll like, or you wont.
If trading simply does not work for you at low levels just grind until your stronger and then trade.
