I have a level 18 wizard character, with a mastery of 16. I also have a 14 mastery in Bard, but I'm finding the perks very limited. Can anyone suggest the best side-skill for my wizard? I will take the mastery points back out if I need to, when I reach level 20.

cleric becauseu can heal urself and u get bless spell and u can b helpful in parties as well if there is no designated healer.

Best for what?

If it's PvE Bard works quite well and since you only use 2 skills you can get fully farmed doing 3 gap. It would have saved my life millions of times to have noise, even if you have a hard time killing giants later on, especially in the caves where champs spawn like 4-5 in a room all the time.

For PvP, Cleric hands down, no debate. If we are talking about complimenting the wizard, cleric is the best way to go, warlock is also good, but you would be more of a warlock than a wizard since you will need like 1 wizard skill, and 20 warlock skills.

I don't know how well bard would work in the caves, but at 68 I could survive indefinitely with cleric sub and light armor set in the large Nachal room. Sure they have m. atks, but they 2 hit me if I let them...although because of the combo attack I heal with division before they finish me off. I can also solo giants even without bless spell on since I heal after every time the giant hits me, I just have to fend off the small fries so they don't double team me. In cape PvP vs same level, I can take on 3-4 people without any problems even with crappy equips...and fyi, 45 seconds is plenty of time to kill 10-15 people, more if you use aoe attacks....which I don't have since i am not farmed.
