 Post subject: [GUIDE] 2:1 s/s int Hybrid

INRTO: you tired of pure int getting killed alot? want something that can do dmg and tank? well then 2:1 is a good build for you!

(now i am only 55 with mine and all that but i will make sure this guide is up to date and that)

How To LVL
You can lvl this build almost any way you want. if you want to go pure int till lvl 53 then go for it want to do 2:1 every LVL go for it. In the end you should have 80 extra points of str.
What To Wear
I would say go with protector

Why no armor you ask? well armor is good for pure int because pure int have a lack of phy def but for a 2:1 int you would have enough phy def to wear prot or garms.
Skills
This is probaly what makes this build good (the skills are based off pure int)
Light 80
Ice 80
Sword 80
Spear 60 (this is optinal i like the passive for even more hp to help tanking but you can take fire or just leave it as 80 80 80)

Light Skills
Thunder Force - MUST MAX this is your imbune!
Piercing Force - MUST MAX this gives you more magic dmg and that
Wind Walk - OPTIONAL gives you speed and that more then likly you should get it
Lion Shout - OPTIONAL mini nuke you dont really need it a whole lot because your not pure
Concentration - OPTIONAL i see no use in this guy but some people do so optional
Thunderbolt Force - MUST MAX Deals alot of dmg even if your not pure in pvp use this as a starter or to kill mobs in pve
Heaven's Force - OPTIONAL (see Concentration)

ICE
Cold Force - OPTIONAL you already have light imbune so you dont need it but comes in handy in pve
Frost Guard - MUST MAX your phy def buff max it
Cold Wave Attack - OPTIONAL not a big deal slows people down
Frost Wall - OPTIONAL/MAX i say optional/max is because if you do get it max it because it can be real helpful vs str builds
Frost Nova - OPTIONAL only get lvl 1 book 1 and lvl 1 of book 2 if you get it because all it does is freeze people
Snow Storm - MUST MAX get lvl 1 of first book then max the 2nd one
Snow Shield - MUST MAX get 50% and set mp pots higher from like 35% to maybe 45% there should be no problem with mp because you are still int based
Cold Armor - MUST MAX more phy def

SWORD SKILLS OR BICHEON
Smashing Series - OPTIONAL
Chain Sword Attack Series - MUST MAX many hits in a small time max all of them and last one gets effects to make you do more dmg
Shield Technique Series - MUST MAX it can boost phy def or boost blocking %
Blade Force Series - OPTIONAL ranged attack not really needed
Hidden Blade Series - MUST MAX knock down get it it can save your life
Killing Heaven Blade Series - MUST MAX skills that attack a knocked down mob or player
Sword Dance Series - OPTIONAL another ranged attack can hit multiple targets not really needed because you got light nuke
Shield Protection Series - MUST MAX allows you to block more

SPEAR OR HEUKSAL
Skills in here are not really needed because your s/s but if you do get skills go for
Soul Departs Spear - Can stun and good dmg
Ghost Spear Attack - good move and later books can knock back
Chain Spear Attack - multiple attacks in a small time its good for pve and pvp
Cheolsam Force - MUST MAX this give you about another 1000 hp

FIRE
this is all up to you but since i dont use it im not going to post it

PVP
in steps on what you should do to kill a nuker or pure int
1. Nuke with strongest light nuke
2. charge and do knock down (do this because ints hp goes down fast and if they nuke you they will take you down so its best to keep them on the ground)
3. chains if the knock down skill is in cool down

in steps on what you should do to kill a str based build
1. Same as vs int nuke with strongest light nuke
2. run up and chain them as much as you can it will bring there hp down
3. if your hp gets low start to knock them down till your hp gets back up

this is my first guide and i didnt see any 2:1 guides so i felt like helping some people out thank you and i will update this as my char gets to higher lvls

My Reason for not taking fire (o.0 bright)
i didnt take fire well because of delvling issues but i want more of a tanking more then dmg taking fire is best for doing dmg and that but its up to you ice for tanking and fire for dmg

In the end the stats should be (funky color <.<)
Str should have 179 points 67% phy balance and 8555 hp
Int should have 256 points 73% mag ballance and 12236 mp

with full blues (with a shield its a total of 60 more points
Str 239 points 79% phy balance and 11423 hp
Int 316 points 90% mag balance and 15104 mp

this does not include the hp and mp blues and spear passive and this is from nivlam.com

that would be ALOT BETTER IMO.why becasue your a 2:1 the point of being 2:1 is to do good phy damage and having fire increase you phy and using its imbue you'll do A TONE MORE DAMAGE.

and having ice at 80 kinda useless becasue you cant have high snow sheild becasue your hybrid int 2:1.

being a hybrid 1:2 has 74% mag balance and using nukes you would do crap damage and ice nukes with a hybrid 1:2 wow you'll do the worst damage ever lol.

having a sheild and being 2:1 and having hueskal passive you already got a amazing phy def.

Good guide tho :D

yes fire might be better then ice but this is the build i would be doing and i already delvled fire for ice and dont want to switch and besides i like ice its fun and stuff just my type of build and you can use 50% snow shield you just got to set mp auto pot higher thats all

:? That's a real strange build. Because you don't have fire. Don't mind if you make your build this way, but it's rather strange to make a guide for it without letting people know they'd be better off with fire...

Anyway...90 cap would probably mean (for best "standard" solution)

90 bicheon
90 fire
90 light
30 ice (or maybe 40 ice and 80 light).

Because you already have a lot of str you don't need the ice that high...(but you already knew that)

Edit: Sorry, saw that you did mention that you didn't use fire, but you might be more precise about why not and why others could take it. Don't take it personal, but it's mainly the noobs that read this things and believe them.

this is also good but (my opinion) fire is more str based, even though your char maybe a hybrid hes still int based...with fire you can get nukes that are stronger than lightning ,but the damage that fire does is very unstable sometimes it does crappy damage sometimes it does hella good damage O.O and you cant get much with ice at 30...ice should be at least 60 to get the defense boost with the buff...snow shield would be around 2X% which wont absorb much damage..O.O

P.S guides are biased each person has a different opinion, also i may have quoted a few things from other hybrid s/s guides and im sorry if i didnt give credit cuz i forgot the authors name :P

you dont need that much phy defence since ur 2:1 u have a lot of hp. and the 40% mana shield would eat up ur mp like crazy. 2:1 has 6195 Hp/8900 Mp , if a glavier crits u for 8k u have no mp. fire might be unstable but u need the physical buffs

+1, like i said, each person has different opninions about what build they should choose, the fire and lightning build has been debated for quite a while...it's somewhere here in this forum i just cant find it :P any new ideas should be welcomed here in order to improve this guide :D

P.S i also read somewhere (most likely a guide also) that you should keep you mag balance between 85%~90% i for got where but i give credit to whoever wrote that =)

lol a str hybrid nuker get spear because you can already tank enough so you will need as much mag dmg as possible

O.o spear does alot more damage than sword but i just luv it when the wizards curse at me for blocking their nukes :P

i thought someone would say that lol in my exp i havent needed it because in pvp all i use is chains and a nuke when there in cool down so i really have no idea and also on the one char builder nivlam with 2:1 it would be str 179 total points 67 phy ballance 8555 hp for int 256 points 73 mag ballance and 12236 mp so i dont think 8k would eat all of your mp because with 50% an 8k crit would take 4k out of my mp leaving 8k left and if you set your pots high enough your fine and also blocking and kd would save your mp at times too so hybrids too can have 50% mana wall and also i was thinking of spear maybe >< i cant deside i like spear and sword moves but i got until lvl 64 because thats when i farm so ill be thinking about it (and i probaly shoulf add the stats to the guide <.<)

well at 64 i dont really need to lvl because i like the skills is offered and that and yes i do i can farm all the sp if i need to but there might be a problem if i dont have a premium <.< venice will start to get annoying

I'd just like to say that I was a 2:1 s/s and got to 48, but then had a very hard time killing things with nukes so I swapped to spear and am now dedicating all Stat to INT. If you wanna nuke go pure, tank go Str. Very simple, but boring.

for me 2:1 hybrid int..good at phy attk+imbue....it got higher dmg than normal str glavie...it 4 sure :)
with nuke at 2:1 build..it doesnt deal a good nuke dmg.....maybe u can 1 hit with nuke to 4 lower mob lvl than u....

i probaly shouldnt put in nuker in there cuz i really never planed to use nukes as much as a normal pure int nuker cuz i normaly do tons of aoe to tons of mobs or nuke and chain and the mob is dead (also i take down pegs at 57 with a nuke and a chain or 2 hehe)

just a few things

2:1 with s/s is too weak to bother, your already sacrafising damage from going 2:1 which dont get me wrong is good but only with spear and fire

2:1 hybrid int should be
80Fire
80Light
80Spear
60Ice

deal more damage and dont die that much either

please people get your hybrids right

the only thing you will be good at is a pain in the ass to beat but you wont kill no one at 80 with that build.

yea shud call it hybrid int instead of hybrid nuker hehehe....
my bro did that build ....2:1 hybrid int spear....with good int add on..u can 1 hit nuke mob 3 lvl lower than u..mostly silver/green....but those nuke not rlly useful when fighting with ur same lvl......and yea AOE dmg help it a lot during trading/taxi
