Well, I have the same dilemma with Corn too, but, aside from those who don't really understand why I cannot cleric in parties (and I've encountered a fair share with them either calling me a noob or even asking the party why I'm there in the first place if I cannot cleric). I just try to explain as diplomatic as possible that my Cleric skills are only this and this level and the party mostly understands. And, as I've been doing my best maxing my wiz skills -- try to do as much damage as possible during the grind. And try to time my bless cycle at the most useful moments. ^^
Also Dan, imma not defending anyone with what happened during our Gens party last night, but actually Jasmin as party leader, imho, (read: only MY opinion), tried to find a solution the best manner possible and still keep whomever was remaining in the party intact. She was suggesting we go with one bard you still wiz and, as far as I remember, nobody objected to that. But I also really get your point too when it comes to sub skills as I've explained above. Jasmin did her best to get the party started again, for me, and you actually had all the right to leave when you felt that the party is not the optimal setup, though still, as I've said, no one forced anyone to do what they didn't want from my vantage point, suggestions were just thrown around as what always happens when reforming.

It wasnt the best for all, and I didnt want drama, so I left for them to get what they needed. Drama would have been me making them kick the other wizz. I didnt, I left, end of story.

Why was this thread even needed. If the situation arises where someone assumes you can play your sub class in a party, simply say " my bard isn't farmed enough to play the role, sorry". The party will read this, accept it and the problem is taken care of. Leaving the PT and writing a big rant thread isn't going to solve much =/
By creating a thread like this it only causes unnecessary drama, frankly im not a big fan of drama. Keep things cool and relaxed guys

The point of the thread was so people would stop assuming one can always play his or her sub. The party had just happened and I used that as an example. I left the party as I stated above so there was no drama, and so every one was utilized to their best.

anyone who does pt shares with me as pt leader...and they are "fully" able to utilize both of their masteries in a pt, then I expect them to play the role that is more needed and if they really dont feel like doing it then....well...ban

Was no need to Ban because they needed something I couldnt do, so I left.
