well..i had to do it...since every time i try to log i almost only see Venus and the other new servers as open...so i decided to start anew...;-)

created a wizard and he is just level 14, since i am new to euro chars i would like to see if i can join an academy that can help me...and really? euros have a longer pot delay?^^ but i am learning to like my euro and plan to just stay with venus and just play my old server during off times (whenever that would be..=/).

my venus ign btw is Cornucopia. :)

If you want to learn from a good wizard, you could try PMing either Khaara or LemonKiss (first to come to mind so don't shoot me guys :P) and tell them that I sent ya to ask them about it. I'd do it myself, but I can't be on enough these days. ^__^

Otherwise, welcome to Venus.

Welcome to Venus!

As necro said, those two i can safely say the strongest wizard in the server.
Pm LemonKiss if you wanna be full wizz and cleric.
Pm Khaara if you wanna be full wizz and sub cleric.
Pm me, Guardia if you wanna be full wizz and bard.

p/s: My academy is full atm.

thanks for all the replies...and Uehara double thanks for the specifics! ;-)

planning to go the wiz sub cleric route atm, level 16...but will see...also planning to save up on sp but i see that the level of spells and items are based on your skill level...so how does one farm a euro character btw? still the same concept as with chinese? looks to be, except for the items that you can use at that mastery level...right? ^^

you'll find it easier to find parties once you get to samarkand

you will die a lot starting off. Till you have better skills to maybe kill faster, and especially later when Warriors (well good warriors) can keep you safe with their buffs, sprint assault, etc. I remember our wizards dieing quite often the very start, and now because we're getting good at partying and everyone is stronger we really never have anyone die much at all, besides a crit or something like that =P.

The more you go, easier it gets. Goodluck on Venus and keep up the good work :)

Yeah, don't worry about dying, just make friends with a cleric that shares the same schedule you do :D .

Ah, well thats a big change. going to a pure int a first time, yea you have to play much more carefully. Just think of like the lighning nuke will do a knockback, letting you breath and pot, possibly giving a warrior that extra second to notice and run in. Always try to stay within the group and not too far off to the side, hit what the warrior aggros, stuff like that. And yea, a solid pt is the most essential =).

Welcome welcome.

Yeah first time wizard here too as well as first time INT character. I am slowly getting used to lower HP and where to stand and what not to aggro and when not to use AOE skills and when to use lightning knockback and freeze and earth barrier but it is a learning process (something BTW a powerleveled character doesn't get pfffft - oh that is the other thread :D ) Anyway, I have come to except the fact that I will die and die a lot (which means as a pure STR and a Hybrid bower on other servers it was rare so it is relative) but so what I died at buns last night and after a cleric res and 3 reg party buns later that xp was back pfffft die bah!!!!!
