confusing unit tree, nothing special except for better graphics

it sucks so bad that i am installing RA2

biggest mistake for EA was to fire WestWood and do it themselves

Aye, I played the demo of RA3 and I was sooooooo disappointed it's unreal.

It was just like, awkward, playing that game.

graphics is too cartoony imo. and they kinda went overboard with the craziness of the units.

they fcked up my favorite nation, the soviets, its so fcked up that i donno what to do

For a RA game, it is nothing special, can't be compared to RA2. But as a lone game (imagine RA2 doesn't exist) it's quite good.

Lol I have the game. It's..."ok." Better graphics but it really has nothing new to offer - I'd go with Yuri's Revenge over this one tbh. I miss having LAN matches on Yuri's Revenge with all 3 factions XD

wasn't it that the scenes were real life and it was about going back to get Einstein if not than never mind if so than i wouldn't play especially over hearing it looks like cartoon

The Unit Tree isnt confusing, but damn are the Japanese OP.

Especially in the expansion.

Giga Fortress > Everything

they're pretty weak at the beginning of the match though. so i usually go soviet and send in some sickles to their base.

I also thought it was a bit too cartoony, I liked how RA2 looked, but this went a lil too much.


The actors and actresses were good lol, I thought the campaigns were too short >.<.

well i guess that if i tried it it'll be fun seens i like war games lol

RA2 is my alltime favorite RTS so that was hard to beat with the new RA 3.
But I gotta say its a good game. Not as good as RA2 ofcourse but its good.

With the expansion you get a few overpowered units tho like the X1 tanks, you can basically destroy the base of a brutal enemy with bout 5 of them or the giga fortress is also incredibly powerfull but once you set it to fly above land it becomes really vulnerable to anti-air planes but you can solve that with a few mecha tengos

I also found the game confusing at first but when I played it a few times got to learn all the hot keys and the good units. Just takes bit more time then RA 2 to get used to, but overall not a bad game. Still better then all other modern RTS games I've played.
