Still looking for that game to succeed the smooth gameplay of Silkroad and currently unsurpassed smooth and detailed character movements? Aion Online still uses ancient technology based on the original CryTek Engine (Far Cry 1).
When NCSoft screwed up their Lineage 3 development. their lead developer and majority of their development team left and formed Bluehole Studio.
Tera Online is their project. It's the FIRST game I've seen that has skill movement that is as smooth as Silkroad Online. Every other game the movement of characters look robotic, including Aion Online.
It's in development stage and have no read if it will be translated to english yet or not, but I'm hoping end of this year we will start hearing more about this project.
The Boss fights in this game look infiintely better than the boring fights of Aion. And the skills displayed in these videos are graphically pleasing enough to keep your attention, but simple enough for a dynamic group based fight like Silkroad was.
Another game to wait and see what will happen. Personally still waiting, wasted over a year on WoW and bored by Aion. Hoping Tera Online will be that game.
For me personally the 60 Cap of Silkroad was still my favorite and best gaming experience so far. Without any doubt.

I will be honest with you people
Pros: Nice gfx (but what new game doesn't have that ?) Spell system seems a bit interesting since you can target. Sound can be good.
Cons: The atmosphere is nice, but some characters don't fit in (like the big guys) but caster look nice. Spell classes seem more special and powerful (i play them anyway) It seems so like Wow with better gfx. That could be positive thing, but honestly if Wow had that kind of graphic and it's own gameplay it would be a lot better. And a thing that really annoy me is when characters stand in one place they begin to shake, i guess thats combat mode but hell again those warriors are so annoying - dancing jellyfish with big sword. Casters seem ok.
SO i guess would play it if there was only casters i the game, they need to work A LOT on their warriors/barbarian things.
But honestly don't compare this with Aion. B&S and this will both come out next year or year and half so compare that.
EDIT: See in the game that skillznl posted, the warrior looks freaking amazing. And it has awesome casters too

hmm tera looks ok but i still find something more in aion and the combat system in c9 is pretty off this world, want to see more of that.
