But whats shocking me so far is that every other game being shown is for the Wii/DS. Yet we saw only a few of them at their conference.

Just adds a nice piece of continuity and means the overall series quality carries on through rather then giving it to a different publisher for different versions and consoles

wasn't that impressed with Project Natal....oh wow i can surf menus using motion sensors...whippie! The whole thing seems as gimmicky as the wii....i can't play Mass Effect 2 or Brutal Legend with Natal so whats the point.....

Seriously, is that what you had in mind for Project Natal? Surfing through menus... If your mind would work a little you could think of that they will develop games for Natal. Maybe good games or bad games, time will tell.

OH the possibilities -_- plz. If they actually manage to come up with something unique and interesting, something thats worth playing not just with friends or when you feel like moving around like a dumbass, if they actually make a game for actual gamers using this technology THEN my mind might be changed but chances are its just going to be that dumb dancing punching fitness crap they spew out for moms, teens, and something for gamers to do when they're to drunk to play real games...

Well, they did mention that the general purpose of the project is to attract a larger player base - beyond the hardcore gamers, who can stick with the controller as much as they want.
Was interesting to sort of understand how a real game would work. However, I think Sony's tech has a higher chance of succeeding than Natal.

Than be patient, the technology Natal uses is way more advanced than Eye Toy. You can't compare them. I think it will be fucking awesome. Cause this time Peter Molyneux is involved too... We'll see.
