Alright, updated names.
I've barely had a chance to play (lvl 11)... and it's such a sick game too...
Love partying with random non-bots. Still quite confused by some of the intricacies of the game, but wtv.

Anyone know what I do with a diamond fragment? It's blue...

Also, if someone could give a quick rundown on crests, lustre, enhancement, ect. that'd be great ;P

I gotz a +9 mace though! It's got a sick blue glow haha

You missed me. I'm Toshiharu in game. The weapons glow at +7 and stays the same til 15 I think I heard it was? Which made me sad. I was really hoping there would be a different glows.

To decrease lag.

The blue glow is slightly more intense at +12 I think.

Having 2 characters at cap is nice. All your characters gain about 40% more exp. Achieved the Combo God title on my Mystic.

@pigrande is your guild active?

NPC them unless they're level 20+ skill books.

As for plates, talk to Bailey in Carderock to craft the plates into crests. They can be used to enhance your stats or skills depending on the plate/crest.

Care to elaborate on the plates ( any limitation known to you would be helpful to know ) a bit, too much shit to learn yet again and this game has more than a couple.

Also rage when I found out you can't map your tab key, one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. I care very little for that dumb emote bar and I would be happy to see it gone any day, I am more than capable of typing /dance >.< ( mapping your keys is godlike however so take a minute to do so ).

Unless it specifies a particular class, you can use any plate if you meet the the plate's level requirement. The items needed to turn a plate into a crest are listed on the plate.

Once you convert the plate into a crest, it becomes tradeable.

You can't equip 2 crests of the same type.

Ex: If you have two fierce crests you can only equip one of them.

Press P and click the crest tab. Skill crests can only go in skill slots and everything else goes in the enhancement slots. Since the cap is level 24 for OB, you have 4 enhancement slots and 2 skill slots that can be filled.

When you equip a crest it cannot be removed. Well, you can removed it but the crest will be destroyed.

They greatly help your stats. I suggest you start using them.

I also dislike how you're unable to change certain keys.

My guild is really active. We got 5 capped players. Been there for a few days. Right now, we are just farming materials to craft. The rest of the guild (9 more) are lvl10-20. We are 14 people but we all know each other from other games. The capped players and myself are quite knowledgeable about the game.

We speak spanish, english, chinese. You are welcome to join DR.

Does anyone know why I cant sell stuff on the auction now? I only have two on there right now, but it wont let me add anymore on... Is there a cap on that?

I've made pretty good money so far.. about 35 gold; enough to buy pretty much anything on my tier right now.

Can anyone give me a price check on this?
Spoiler!

Seems like there is a cap on the auction.. but how long untill it resets?:o

Dark Elfs and Harpies are the most annoying creatures in this game.. they take like 1/4 of your hp if they gangbang you in a corner -_-

Enhancing alot of +9 and +10 stuffs recently, but I cant sell it and have no room in my inventory :(

edit: it might be also to enhance the green items, rather than the purple because it costs more for the purple right? they need crude onyx and stuffs

@pipigrande Alright, I'll whisper you in game.

@vietxboy911 Auction resets every week/month, not sure. You can just create an alt and mail the items to it to sell.

Once you get higher level you will get Aerial Evasion which lets you get out of their combos.

Purple? They look blue to me? Regardless, Crude Onyx drops all the time at higher levels. The blue items can also be crafted into even better gear. I personally would just wear greens until level 23 then start working on a set of 24 blues.

Yeah, I was thinking that.. I bought a blue set for Level 16 tier, but ill probably just end up selling it to get the greens untill level 24

@the market resets every week. You have 30 per week.

@don't sell your crude onyx, you need them to + your items. And you need a lot. A lot.

Well, as long as there is unlimited trade, ill be ok. I'll level a different account to 10, and then auction my items on them and switch it.. but then it'll still be 60 a week :o

This is retarded. Oh well free game. Beat the trial, transfer over a bunch of items, and sell them. Solved.

Ya 30 is retarded. I can use those 30 in 2 days. Easiest way is to transfer items like you said.

Yea, worst thing about this game is the marketplace.

I think it can be a pretty good F2P game if they don't put gamebreaking items in the cash shop.

@Swindler I use to feel the same way about instanced based games. After playing Rusty Hearts, Dungeon Fighter Online, and Dragon Nest I've come to appreciate them a lot more. Everything is far more engaging when it's instanced based instead of just grinding hitting 1 2 3 over and over again. Small things like being able to jump to avoid an attack go a long way.

Basically it's just the same thing, but instanced. Having people around you all the time is kinda what makes an MMO a MMO.

Usually when a player leaves a town is when they want it to feel less like an MMO.

No extra people means no one is there to KS your mobs, no fighting for grinding spots, botters in your area, less lag, etc. With it being instanced you can still have people around you all the time except now you can choose who can be around you when you go out to level.

In most none instanced MMOs, jumping is purely cosmetic. It can't be used as a tactical element and neither can things like a quick dodge to the side. Your character and the controls in general also give the feeling of being more rooted to the ground where instanced allows more freedom.

You aren't going to get the type of engaging boss fights you experience in single player action games in most none instance based MMOs since it requires good tech to pull it off. It's relatively easy to pull off when it's built around the majority of the game being instanced.

By the looks of it, you just came from SRO and haven't played or tried any other MMOs on quite a while. Most MMO's today dont let you KS since the first one to attack the monster is the one who is getting the exp/loot, if another players start attacking the same monster he/she wont get anything.

Botters do not exist as much in other games as in SRO, so botters I cant give a crap about and if you lag because there is other people around you, I would suggest upgrading your PC. (If there is PC lag you talk about)

Jumping is purely cosmetic in most MMOs, yes. But there is currently 2 MMOs that is soon to be released that got pretty much the exact system as Dragon Nest fighting system(dodging etc.) Tera and Guild Wars 2. Both non-instanced. Pulling off the same mechanics as Dragon Nest is probably really easy in a developers eye. Making it instanced is just a way to save some cash developing and hosting the game.
