All the private server requires is that you have all the BC files in the right location and that you're patched up to latest. So as long as the trial version of BC includes all the files for Outland, its mobs, it NPC, its raids, Blood Elves, Draenei etc etc, you should be fine.

XD Don't forget to go to Stormwind Keep and get your T3 gear. (costs around 150G) I'm farming up gold when I'm on to be able to get a better bow for DPS. My current one isn't to great.

Fun servers can be real fun if you find a good one. I kill time on a Instant 70 server that has all the Season gear and enchants ready, so it would take you like under an hour to set up a char with gear and all up. - http://vcnelite.com/ Its really active too. I play a Destro Warlock as a main and got a MM Hunter for big group raids since it does better than the warlock in group.

Already got my T3, now for T6. Also think about getting a ring of donor. Cause hunters get taken down to easy. I'm not gonna get a donor wep though cause that would make it boring. And I'm 70 now. Best way to get gold is make a second char with mining and Bs and make some gold and truesilver rods selling at 300 gold each, got 5k in 2 hours =]

I still have t3 lvl 60 armor. And I stack agility like crazy. So my stam isn't the best. I'm also marksman. I crit like 23% right now, but gonna increase it after I get my enchant maxxed. 3000+ crits from aimed shot most of the time with my 56 bow lol. I'm also think about rolling a rogue, cause I rolled one on Battlescape server and love it. Although it's kinda overrated now.

Baaaah, had a good Illi rush going last night but our tank couldn't hold the aggro so Illi overran into the casters and healers. Then the leader wanted me to shoot Illi and run using Aspect of the Cheetah. Yeah, screw that; I'm not taking a death sentence with no healers alive. >___>

Still haven't done BT yet, working on getting Enchanting up and got a pally to 70 in like 4 hours lol. Quests Ftw on fun server. I kinda cheated though cause i mailed my pally all the cloth for cloth quests. =]
Although I did visit the Entrance to BT with some donors to clear the horde of horde, forgive my pun. I only died like 5 million times from shammys and mages lol

hate to double post, but I wanted to revive this thread. It's easy for me to find BT raids now. I'm gonna get all the tokens and Illi's bow from there before going to Hyjal, purely so I can cash everything in at once. I've found just raiding to be a nice way to make money; made like, 2k doing a BT boss wipe.

Imo, since SRF doesnt approve of SRO private servers. And Blizzard doesn't of the same thing on WoW side, this should be locked. Not revived. Buy the real game.

Some of us don't have the time to dedicate to retail. I don't have a spare two months to even just get to to 70, let alone start gearing it all. Also, before you go on about the private server stuff, go look in the Other SRO versions board. I see lots of ECSRO topics. Now, wasn't that a private server?

I've read the TOS, and you probably have to. by those means, this should be a goner. WoW private servers are just as much a disgrace as the SRO counterparts are for the original game.

Only difference is they clearly state from the get go that it's not retail, and is a different experience, and if you want to play the game how it was intended to go play retail. Unlike SRO private server which are intended to replace the original game.

Even if that were a valid arguement, they're still not supported by Blizzard ina ny way.

To be honest, Blizzard earns that much money off the game anyway I think they're kinda beyond the point of even caring.
Sure, a few thousand go to play on private servers. But a few thousand compared to a couple million?

I'm not sure principle's should be applied in such a matter. It's either a pro, or a Con.
These servers are way to different from the real game.

Which I stated earlier they acknowledge and mention, and if you wanted to experience the actual game to go play retail.
Maybe not a way to apply such a principle, but it is the simple fact of the matter. That and private servers are too hard to actually keep track of too.
Also like I said, some people just don't have the time. If they did, they'd play retail. Some just like to get on for two hours and kill some monsters. My biggest gripe when I tried retail, was how slow moving everywhere to do quests was as well as low EXP per kill. I'm a grinder by nature, I don't like getting bugger all for killing stuff.

Bot company's @ sro also don't state that they're bot is the only way to play/experience the game, they just say it's easyer or faster.
Doesn't mean it's right.

These servers are way to different from the real game. Why would you care about them being different? Afterall, its not you playing on it.
