Either way, I spent 100k on my warrior, equiping him and stuff - I still need to rune his heroes but the price for survivor/radiant is Farking high right now. And, I need to get 3 aptitude not attitude inscriptions for the heroes -_-.

ExSoldier wrote: Ever thought of getting an Destroyer Axe?They look awsome IMO I used to power trade destroyer items. I think they all look horrible. My favorite skins: Hand Axe Longsword Aegis/Shield of Wing + Tall Shield Not a big fan of the other stuff, with the exception of fellblades and chaos axes. When I used to play a lot, they used to go for 1000k for a perfect q9, since they i've always wanted to get my hands on them. These days, it's very easy to do that, but I still love having them.

Slowly working my way to rank 1 gladiator only just got myself a build thats any good. And eh i'd love to do HA and GvG, but HA seems dead to me, and the only way to get a party is if your rank6+ etc.. so with no new pvp players being able to do that.. its not going to last long. GvG.. can't get into a guild which do it.. their all to serious and hardcore.

Quit yapping about what leet weapons you got. What you guys think of the new Heroes, M.O.X. and the Flame Imp thing I totally hate because I hate all Imps in Guild Wars. Think M.O.X. is rather cute, I always wanted to see a running Golem.

Since then i've always had a sick love affair with fellblades, i've gone through a q9 tyrian 15>50, q9 inscribable, and this one in the past week or so. There's just nothing that I like as much as a fellblade. I realize they aren't really rare or worth 1000k anymore, but a q8 is still rare and worth a pretty penny, despite q9 inscribable ones flooding the market. Speaking of q9 inscribable fellblades, I have to sell my old one.

Selling Keys is way to do gold(5k a day),but I mostly get a lot of gold from buying cheap and resell way higher,Guru Auction is your friends Exemple,5 weeks ago I bought a Perfect Dragon Kamas pair for 25k,sold it 65k 2 Months ago bought a Perfect Zodiac Daggers pair for 15k,traded for an Amethyste Aegis which I sold 66k But ask Dom,he's the MoneyMaker Guru xD

Well unlike Silkroad, I dont need money for pots/repairing/alchemy. I make enough gold to buy the gear I want and outfit it with runes. So the whole buying and selling for higher doesnt intrest me I do it enough in sro lol. Though I did buy my first inscription a few days ago for my Tengu offhand from the bonus mission pack in Kamadon. But I am a noob, what do you need with over 100 plat anyways? oO

I sold a few perfect mods in district one of kamadon, but watching the trade spam go crazy is kinda nuts! Do all of you have all the games?

Same, you get the most fun out of GW when having the 4 games,I suggest for new players to be the "GuildWars Trilogy" kit+ GWEN or the upcomming Complete Edition(with GWEN) instead of buying only one game of the series.

Glavie's Girl wrote: I sold a few perfect mods in district one of kamadon, but watching the trade spam go crazy is kinda nuts! Do all of you have all the games? Let me give you a couple tips on making money in GW. When in spamadan you want to always make sure trade chat and all chat are turned off. What you will do is check the party window (hotkey: p) and read through the descriptions. Keep in mind when someone spams it bumps their listing to the bottom, so the higher entries are people who have been waiting longer and are potentially frustrated/bored and willing to sell for less. When you offer always offer a price, don't say "how much" unless you just simply want to buy an item, as opposed to reselling it. The reason you offer a price is because you're being firm and confident, they won't get the impression that they can bargain much with you and sell it for higher. Rule one of power trading is not buy low and sell high - that's a mistake a lot of people make. It's sell low and buy even lower. The market is volatile and the longer you hold an item the more risk accumulates and the faster items potentially lose their worth. You want to buy something low and get rid of it as soon as possible for any amount of profit. Here are a couple great things that are always in demand and suited for a first time power trader Aptitude not Attitude inscription (20%)Buy this item for 5k and sell it for 7k. If someone offers 6 accept it, if they offer 5 tell them 6. That's a quick 1-2k. Shield Handle of Fortitude (+30hp)Buy this item for 3-4k and sell it for 5k. Don't accept lower and keep a lookout for people paying 6-7k. Luck of the Draw inscription (20%/-5)Buy this item for 5k and sell it for 7k, if they offer 6 take it, if they offer 5 tell them 6. Remember that the higher an item sells for, the higher the profit margin and the risk grows exponentially. Never buy imperfect mods or imperfect requirements (eg: q10, q11, q12, q13) - they are hard to sell and you will waste a lot of time finding a buyer. The only exception to this is caster weapons and in particular chaos axes. NEVER buy undesirable/mediocre skins. It's a lot safer to stick to perfect weapon mods as there will always be a demand and the price is rather stable. Right now i'm making a lot of money buying caster chaos axes for 40k (required 9 only), salvaging the mods, selling the axe for 50-55k, and the mods for 4-5k each. It's a risk taking a weapon, but once you learn the market (which you will learn from watching the party chat in kamadan) you'll be able to properly manage risk/profit ratio. There is no such thing as free money. In this case you're making money by investing your time. You can't power trade for 15 minutes a day, it takes hours of sitting in town doing nothing. It's not something a lot of people like. I like it because I sit next to my computer and play xbox while I power trader, or play another game/browse SRF.

It made me laugh seeing you call it spamadan!! Tis so true, and I didnt know about the party search feature, thats pretty awsome right there! I did sell a +30 sheild mod for 3plat >< Wonder if I have seen any of you in "spamadan" without knowing it!
Is there a trick to the gold drop selling? Or just salavage perfect mods and sell to merchant? Sorry I is noob at this. lol
An old high school freind got me into guild wars, told me to get NF first and if I liked it get the others. I bought NF LOVED it, and then got the others in the couple packages, like factions/prophcies, and EoTN with the bonus mission pack. Honestly dont care much for the original gw game(lol), but NF and EoTN are my favorites I spend most of my time in those two champaigns. Do any of you play together, or you got your own things going on?
I used to have no gold at all, my gm tried to teach me but I was too noob to figure it out at first, so set in my sro ways was hard to put that style of selling aside and do something different. Wasnt till I was doing alot of faction battles working on my title tracks and the Z-key title came out that I started making gold, and getting better at reading the spam.
*edit: I read it over twice and it all reads very noobish. xD I seperated into paragraphs so its not as much a cluster of thoughts.

A "ok" way to make gold too is to farm all kinds of stuff in CoF(Cathedral of Flames). Superb Charr Carvings & Diessa Challices sells a lot @ Doomlore Shrine
