ohh...I missed it!!! Dam power being out T__T
You mention raptor farming, I see alot of people in rata sum spamming for raptor leechers. As far as I have gotten in the game I have never seen any city where people actually ask for leechers. Asked in all chat and they beleive that more pc's in party makes more drops. Is that even true, I always go solo, unless its a mission then I ask for pug parties. On a side note is there a good way to farm for Deldrimor rank? Also I did this really hard mission and got a Diamond, anyone know its worth? Should I sell or keep it?
I apologize for being a noob still, I am in a very inactive guild so I dont talk to anyone in game usually that isnt also a noob like me. lol

Aye, yesterday was TLaP day, but the Grog's still droppin', matey. So if you want a bunch, you're not too late. I'm farmin' on them Raptors too, but I rather go solo. Everyone says with leechers, you get more drops, so they want the leechers to come with them but stay at to startpoint. When the leechers waddle after the farmer, they get drops too, and the farmer won't be pleased. That's why I prefer farmin' solo, yarrrr. (Oh gosh I wish every day was TLaP day) About the Deldrimor Rank, the best way to farm Deldrimor points is doing the quest Lost Treasure of King Hundar in normal mode until you reach Rank 8 then do the same dungeon in HM. Hope that helps. Wouldn't dare to say anything about the Diamond, I'm totally unaware of the market.

You mean when you creat a character? Thats normal, its like choosing the race of your character(Tyrian,Canthan or Elonian). Lets say you choose to make a Elonian char(Nightfall),you will start on Elona(nightfall campaign) but you can still go to the other campains with the same char.

There are 4 Guild Wars Games: - Prophecies
- Factions
- Nightfall
- Eye of the North (Which is an add-on, you need at least one of the above to be able to play it.)
There's a Trilogy Pack, and if you get that you get Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. If you get those, you can travel throughout all the 3 continents (There's one for Prophecies, one for Factions, and one for Nightfall). If you buy only Nightfall, your character can only stay in the continent that comes with Nightfall.

I always bought my games at the local store, but what I do know is that if you buy via PlayNC, you get the key for the campaign you bought.
Even if you buy the game in the store, it's all about the key, since you can just download the client from the GW site.

That'll work too yeah, every GW game will keep you occupied for quite some time and then you can always decide if you buy the other games after. Don't forget to post your IGN so we can all stalk you!

Unlike Sro, Guild wars you can remove attribute points in town and move then around depending on what you want to do. And the loading isnt very long, no lag and no server traffic. Its very confusing at first, but you get the hang of it quickly, there is alot to do in the game, its not very repetive either unless you want it to be. On a side note, did anyone take advantage of the double EoTN rep points over the weekend? In only a few hours I was able to get all mine up to lvl 5, didnt have the energy to do more then that. I finially got my sun glasses and asure gear! Now I need to get my derv better runes. Oh in the Hall of Monuments, if you have more then one set of gear on display, it will appear as the current dye on the gear your wearing.

AnemuS wrote: are the necros fun to play btw? I think i already screwed the build on the first go , but whatever... As Glavie's Girl mentioned, you can change your points in town so you really can't mess up a build permanently. Even your sub you can change later on. It really is an indepth game, the farther you go into it, the better and more skilled your character will become. Necros are really enjoyable, I really had fun on my Minion Master I was working on. You can get all sorts of skills to play with and change out of your bar in town to see which you like best. In order to get new skills, you need to get them from a npc in certain towns. Sadly took me a while to realize it when I was new haha, makes the game quite a bit more fun as you gain new abilities.

Necros are Farking OP in PvE - and they're rather good in PvP. The only problem I have with them in PvE is that a hero can do the job just as well, or better since there is no learning curve. I'd much rather take something like a monk, warrior, ranger, or whatever; and run sabway. Meet PvE on easy mode, where you can vanquish with heroes and henchies with ease, or roll through missions with your eyes closed: http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/SabwayBut I guess you could run as one of the necro spots and bring a visions mesmer - which absolute destroy anything. I find it's sometimes worth dropping the /e and going /n for blood ritual. http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:Me/E_ ... _of_RegretYou could probably run a visions build on a necro and swap fast casting for soul reaping and bring along an echo, but i've never tried it.

A little tip : If you have a few hours on your hands, go to your GW icon on your desktop, right click on it, properties, and in the target box add a space and "-m" without quotes, that will go ahead and download everything for you instead of every map indiviually.

There are several districts on the game, which you can switch to in each town which will probably be more or less dense depending how high you go. But if you mean out of town, the way the game is you basically have your own private copy of the game once you walk out of town. Only ones you can interact with are your party members who are with you as you go. It is weird compared to most MMO's, but the way the quests are set up especially you kind of need it. When you do missions and such in town you can find parties though and make friends through that. It's tough to get used to, for me atleast. But it just takes time

AnemuS wrote: btw i can't find people in game lol , i was running until some town where i saw people selling stuff but could not detect anything alive .. Even the spammers are real people, there is no "stall network" in guild wars, so people spam the trade chat. If you type something once and hit enter, you can hit enter again and the arrow up button and it will bring up the last sent message, so you dont have to keep typing the item your selling. And it seems that lvls 1~15ish are pretty solo, for first timers it takes awhile to lvl to 20. I have made and deleted dozens of chars, so I can get to 20 in a few hours just from practice. lol Since you are in necromancy atm have you read this? Necromancy Guide from Guildwars.wikia.com You might not understand the typical dicition used in guild wars but you will get the hang of it and it will make sense quickly. I learned about 50% of the game doing pve, and learned the other 50% doing pvp. They are two totally different aspects of the game. I like both parts, there is a guy in my guild that does pvp only, and another that only does pve. The game varies depending on what you want from it, thats why I love it so. And just cuz, here is my new gear from the farming I did this weekend: We should all do a dungeon run this weekend or something! Oh btw, do we have a vent or something for gw? I know srf has a vent but I rarely see anyone anymore so I stopped going. I keep thinking about stuff and I have edited my thread like multiple times now. xD sorry!! Are any of you into a pvp style guild? GvG or do alot of team arena/hero's ascent? I want to expand my experince of pvp play, but not sure how to go about it. Any ideas?

Dam heh , i will surely enter the vent if its still there , not that i'm good at speaking in english , i can assure you my writing is like 500% better than talking so yeah... I guess if i enter ill just listen to u guys , or make u laugh at me yeah i understood the quest part i already did few , my little brother is too playing guild wars but ill stay with my necro Of cource main aspect would be pvp as any other game out there , i'm not really into pve thats why i did choose guild wars since i heard u can get to 20 in no time Grinding for stuff is another thing , i guess it happens in real people parties , otherwise i guess ill have fun time playing with my self ...
