Glad to hear, Also ... Helllll-no. Skalid >>>>>> All I was forced to buy it really, I got some mix and match Maritla / armour STiT Maxcrafts going on. Kinda looked like a nub. So decided to get one. Freed - Looked kinda like a adept battleset >.> Rin - Well, that just looks dirty. Mystic Blade - Looks good, but a friend has it to, so rather not be stupid and take the same ^^ Muhh, I actually didn't know about the suit being effected by your real suit's +. Hmm.

I'm planing to try Cabal for a change from SRO
I'm just wondering: -is lvling fast (playing 1-2 hours per day and 2-3 hours on weekends, will I reach cap at most in 1 year?) -is there a good pvp system -when beta ends, will all our characters be deleted? -is there good graphics -is the community nice in general -is the graphics decent compared to SRO -is there a large or medium variety of skills and classes?

magisuns wrote: OH OH OH this game is awesome =) i'ma lvl 51 a.expert warrior ;3* yesyes i knoe.... only a.expert but i just started farming :O Haha, congrats. The game should now get alot more interesting from 50+ InsertName wrote: I'm planing to try Cabal for a change from SRO I'm just wondering: -is lvling fast (playing 1-2 hours per day and 2-3 hours on weekends, will I reach cap at most in 1 year?) Nah the cap of 170 has still not been reached by anyone. You would get too 90 no problem pretty fast.-is there a good pvp system Some hate it, some love it. Personally I love it. You can challenge peopel to a pvp and bet honor or alz ( gold ). On a war map ( 95+ ) you are able to kill the opposing nation without a penalty. And of course guildwars / and the 19:00 GMT Nation Vs. Nation war.
Oh and there's pk. But only on the 'pk' channels. First PK is always free, from then on the penalty gets more and more harsh.-when beta ends, will all our characters be deleted? No, when european cabal went F2P after the beta period many feaqred a wipe. But that never will happen.-is there good graphics I love the graphic. All tho not as 'life like' as silkroad, I am obsessed with the amazing skill animations and the obvious blur of color.-is the community nice in general Yeah, if you coem from a Silkroad background ... which something tells me you do : > then you will notice a much more helping and talk-a-tive player base. Also the official forums are used by GM's.-is there a large or medium variety of skills and classes? I would say so, about 40? skills per class. You won't obviously use the mal leventually. But it is still nice.Classes are: WA - Warrior [ High def, solid attacks overall tank ] BL - Blader [ High def rate *Dodges attacks* and his crits are powerful ] FA - Force Archer [ The healing class of the game. Also stands it's ground in PvE ] FB - Force Blader [ De-buff master, good looking skills. An overall menace ] WI - Wizard [ I'll let Takolin tell you bout this ] FS - Force Shielder [ Capable of either using sword or magic skills. HIGH ASS DEF ]

An overall menace ] WI - Wizard [ I'll let Takolin tell you bout this ] FS - Force Shielder [ Capable of either using sword or magic skills. HIGH ASS DEF ] Such a small list. My improved comparison Warrior: What you see is what you get. A guy in armour with a giant sword. The class which has the highest HP in the game, has a great attack and nice def. The only downside would be the lack of defrate in PvE, but most warriors can tank enough to ignore that issue. Blader: It's a disturbed copy of the warrior. It doesn't deal as much raw damage, but they make it up with crits. HP and attack are still nice. Their def is lower than that from a warrior, but going heavy solves things. Their ownage def rate is great in PvE and mass PvE when combo'ing starts becoming useless if you all attack the same target. Force Archer (FA): At the first sight a glorified walking HP pot, but looks deceive. These babies can be lethal, when they aren't forced to heal. Force Blader (FB): If you can't play with it, the class sucks. If you can play with it, it's beyond good. One of the most annoying classes you'll face in PvP with their nasty debuffs. To be honest nasty is an understatement. They can disable all classes but a wizard in a PvP for 10 seconds making you a sitting duck who can't move and can't use skills. Force Shielder (FS): The critwhore. It has the advantage of going both magic as melee and both are lethal. Their damage might not be the highest if you don't crit, but when these babies crit, you'll see high numbers flying around and they crit a lot. And they have the highest def in the game. The perfect tank and their buffs make them even better tanks with either around 2k def at the cost of being unmovable (nice for melee classes and PvE) or a buff that absorbs 4k damage before you can touch their HP. My 2nd favourite class Wizard: This was/is and always will be my personal favourite. It's a bit nerfed but it's fun nonetheless. You'll lack def, but high def rate helps in PvE. A nice selection of stun skills in PvE and great DPS in PvP. With the correct gear it's one mean killing machine and not a glass cannon unlike most wizards in mmo's. In PvE you'll AoE stun while leeching back the HP you lose in seconds. And it's the fastest class in the game who has 2 teleportat skills which makes it impossible for other classes to get you if you're running.

In my opinion you just described a Force Archer : P Server, hmm I gather you are American ? If so I'm not sure what their server names are. Europe's are Mercury / Mars / Jupiter. I play Mars.

I had a lvl 129 FS, and now playing FA. First i tough skills ... all arrows, gonna look boring. But the skills are surprisingy cool. Reached Master and i must say drilled shot is a dam cool skill. And not to mention FA skills the fastest (fast skills 1.3 secs/cast), good DPS so its lvls fast too and usefull in parties? FA's are the only healers in game, so yeah. Also at lvling we got an edge at first because of our range

Yeah Dps is bad, but they look to cool to not cast :p And those are the biggest hits (bad in dps tough) i got atm.

The combo I use is...
Gravity Distortion(9) - Shooting Star(6) - Shadow Shot(20) - Critical Shot(20)
The only difference I can see is my friend having a EoS+6 compared to my EoS+5, but I don't think that should create that much of a difference in power. Even died when I switched to my Shadow EoG+5.
Neither one of us has crafted gear. Normal Terragrace vs normal Mystic.
EDIT: I guess I'll go with RoLs to increase my critical rate.

I got some new questions now that I started playing...
-how do I advance in ranks? -is it common to dc when using tele -how does the dummy work? and can only premium users use the dummies? -which skills should I get as FA? and do I have to constantly delvl when new branches are available?

What level can you craft weapons? It grows on you seriously. I nearly quit when first loading cabal up a year ago. But it just gets alot btter over time. And uhmm, at lvl 50 you gai nthe ability .. after completing the neccessary quests to craft items. You have to chose what you want tho. Martial / Armor / Battleset / Orbs / Crystals / Swords etc etc.

Press ' Scroll Lock '
It should be located near the Print Screen button, well ... right next to it : )
Once removes the GUI, twice removes GUI + You and a third time restores it all.

EDIT: I guess I'll go with RoLs to increase my critical rate.-1 for using terra or mystic in a PvP unless it's badass crafted item. Things you need for pvp *RoL+2*2 *Deathblow orbs (lapis) *Deathblow helm (osmium or titanium +7 extended (2* dam in slots, 1 times rate) *Will boots (titanium+7 extended or 240 osmium ones) *Amp gloves and suit *Bracelets of sage *Earrings of guard +4, vital +2 earrings, Force regen earrings +4 (first force regen+4, then vital and guard as last resort) *Vamp or pain amulet (whatever suits you best) *EoS+6 is the bare minimum BTW aim for 50% crit rate and the rest is crit dam with the deathblow items. 50 - 5% base + 30% from RoL+2 + whatever % your bow gives = the amount of rate you need in the items. some FA from my guild wrote: Force Archer: Im using.. Comp.(10) , ShadowShot(20), GM(9) and CritShot(20) other way Comp, shadow, crit, gm and repeat
Other Combos
Archer PVE: GM(9)-COMP(9)-shadow(20)-crit(20)-stonecannon(20) My style of playing: a) encountering mobs with distance: -> if you use the full 5 skills in combo youve got a "permastun" in the GM, the cannon just fits the stuntime perfectly to release the mob right before the next gm stuns him again -> if gm stun misses, the mob is knocked back by the comp skilll and is released right before GM stuns again b) a bunch of mobs is coming too close: -> use your normal combo but skip a GM once so they get knocked back (thrusting arrow lvl 20 ftw), after this proceed with a), or repeat b) if neccessary c) youre attacking mobs in front of you and an additional mob is comming from behind: -> use gm-comp in the mobs in front of you, knock the one from behind down with shadowshot&critshot, repeat until combo runs out, then switch positions (dash) so you can proceed to b).
d) generally use comp&critshot to push mobs away and stun em with GM when they stand up so they cant approach you (only works for melee, go closeup to ranged mobs so melees&ranged mobs are in same AoE)
Archer PvP: (GM)-crit-shadow-terralance(20)-firelance(20)-crit-shadow-comp-gm the GM in brackets is optional, only i do this when encountering shielders or anything with too much hp/high def. in most cases you can skip the first gm and the enemy will be dead @comp... btw always check if you can shorten the combo, k3nny tends to do crit-comp-gm ad the enemy is dead -.-
