The Xmas event was so BS.
Basically the GM-santas didn't have enough presents to give out to the world so they decided to buy off OUR item mall stuff for in game cash. You had to set up a stall in ACD East at their set price and eventually they came down to ur stall and bought ur stuff. Like 750k per inventory stone or something. They only bought limited # of things though.
Then they decided they weren't gonna lose anything so they gave out some item mall things in form of a scavenger hunt. Whoever found it got it.
That wasn't even an event imo. It was just lame =.=
Btw sat u done 39Fb? <3

Imo the event is great for merchants that sell item mall stuff, cuz the Gm santas buy the stuff for higher cost
But yeah it wasent an F2P/Non merchant player event <.<

yeah, but then again I have reported a couple players and saw one banned. I think dealing with player bots is a lot easier then dealing with gold bots, since they just simply keep remaking low lvl accounts. It'll probably take till next year till there is any major action taken, since most of the gm's are off for christmas break. I just really want to see if they drop the ball or not.

was told about it a while ago by lana and i have to say its 100 times better then SRO, currently in the open beta version of the game and its so much fun...you can double jump over builds, fly swim.
and while it is easier to lvl by taking quests unlike SRO this is not a grind fest as all characters seem to lvl up quite fast
Didn't bother to read everything ppl wrote but i'll really have to dissagree on that, i've played Perfect World more than a month, i was a 59 Human Mage and really now i regred spending time for it, it gets already boring after lv 20 and even more boring further on, the jumps are just for show, nothing usefuls from them. The game is still in open beta and its got still a long way to go, but i'll say these few things, its not as mobile as it seemed at first, i'd say the stiff LineAge2 is more entertaining that this one, a few good looking skills is all there is, and those are warrior ones, mage ones are sloppy animated and ugly (i expected alot more from a game that won the best MMO award of 2007) The PvP is kinda lets say like in any other game, just plain hitting a target with skills and staying in one place.
Its nothing compared to WoW , why i've mentioned World of Warcraft? Cause its often refered to as Chinese WoW. The fight dinamics are far behing, and i doubt any game will have mecanichs are good as WoW for some time, but if my eyes didn't deceive me, i think Aion Online has a similar dinamic to WoW. The crafting system isn't really all that great, its pretty simple and boring, leveling after lv 20 is hard without a party so becomes really dependant on parties for a Mage (wich i was) , Warrios aren't like warriors at all...where have you seen a Heavy Armor warrior sit down to regen hp after killing 1-3 monsters when soloing (i didn't bear to get my warrior past lv 26) The game has really alot less entartaining than expected, there isn't much to do beside going dungeons wich gets boring and useless and doing PvP on the arena or duels to gef off from grinding, wich becomes boring after 1-2 days.

it doesn't make much sense comparing a f2p to a p2p. WoW is always going to be better

Both of you are kinda right and kind wrong
Satman the game is more then 4 weeks old,i think its more then a year old in the other ver. of the game
But yeah pure ints need party after lv 20,or im healing and poting myself after each mob.... From like 800hp,i go down to 260 after each mob my lv
Yeah warriors heal after 3-4 mobs which sounds good for me,werebeast for more
But yeah the game w/o a party every time you play is not worth it

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but Perfect World just doesn't seem as responsive as SRO for me. In PW, I often find if I click a mob and try to attack it, I sometimes have to click again, or wait a second before using a skill to attack. In SRO, I just double click it and am instantly attacking. Attacks just seem faster in SRO.
I also can't seem to zoom out very far, so I have a bit of a limited view of the world around me.
Perhaps I'll reinstall it sometime and try it out again. I'd be interested to see if it works in Linux at least.

ya. non malaysian ppl wll get a 3 second lag for skills.. but theres a way around it. if you use the built-in macro feature (combo skills) for your skills you dont get any lag at all in between skills. but you cant spam it.. or it wont work lol.

not in masses as much as sro, the only ones i've seen were under lv20ish.
also, about the lag, eventually this game will come out with an EU/USA server, which would fix the lag, I don't know when though. I never really had a problem with the skills though, the only thing I got was it took me ~2secs to start attacking with a skill

the server is in Malaysia, so odds are the only people that lag are the farthest from it. the closer you get the better ping maybe. the pk system

hardly notice goldbots lol. But anyway at least they don't have spambots like in SRO. Goldbots I can bear but spambots I cannot. Anyway no other class exept my own class a,nd that is only if they have a molten lava crystal, can ks a monster from me long. It's only a matter of time before I snatch em back up. my molten lava crystal.
