SRO Vs PW
heres a comparison of the two games
Leveling up
SRO= spend hours trying to gain xxxxxxxx amount from monsters that only give you 0.0x% exp means you spend hours just trying to get up by 2% exp
PW=spend a short time to gain a reasonable about to exp....from monsters that give 0.xx%, means that you can gain 10% in under 20 minuets.
Quests
SRO= Quest in SRO come in the form of badly strung together English in which the NPC insults you by calling you weak, but then tells you to go out and kill 1000 monsters just to gain a reward of x.xx% and a rubbish amount of gold.
PW= Quests are normally linked together or help with character development such as the cultivation quests, you gain a quest for an NPC and after killing or gain a small amount to items you gain anywhere from 10% to 30% per quest. also past the 2nd cultivation lvl you obtain a quest for 20% every 24 hours.
Items
SRO= Items in SRO are cheap but rubbish at the NPC lvl and over priced to the point of greed and stupidity at the higher end...best weapons are the soX range, but normally over priced 1000x hard to find and is hard to add onto them.
PW= items likewise come in the rubbish NPC form....but in this game unlike SRO you can add onto items with success all the time, improving a host of features. Also one can make their own weapons, armor and even HP and MP pots. also items are priced at reasonable pricing not the retarded ones of SRO.
In game economy
SRO=is a complete joke, JM adding in gold all the time and stupid greedy users charging 1000x an items worth as meant that only the "super rich" can afford any item sold that is actually good.
PW=is much much better, item pricing is set at reasonable pricing, while some item mail items are expensive considering there price compared to SRO and what they can do its a whole lot better. gold is easy to find yet items are sold at a price that anyone can afford something thats good.
GM's
SRO= Well i have to ask...has anyone seen one? i haven't after 2 and a bit years, plus no way to contact them in game and e-mailing them. you might as well tie a letter to a ballon and let it float away (better chance of them getting it) GM's were so hated that when they did appear people tried to kill them, something that would not happen seeing how strong the GM's are, still they banned everyone who tried, and since then there only presence is a automated notification
PW= Theres a GM help button, a button to report bots and they actually reply to your e-mails. while the GM's arnt always online when they are online they help people out and listen to your problems.
Skills
SRO=Skills in this game are gained each lvl by "buying" them using SP, each character dispite its class can have skills from any of the "skills tree" and create a character that may or may not be complete rubbish or completely brilliant. animation of them isnt to bad, but unless you have large amounts of MP (Mana Points) then the most powerful skills (nukes) are useless. skills are limitied
PW=Skill in this game are brought from "skill masters" located in each city and large town or village, costing both gold and skill points to "buy" them, the skills in this game are more balanced are each race as its own unique skills, consisting of buffs are attacks...unlike SRO there is no limit to how many kills you can have.
jobs
SRO=hunter, their or trader...not as balanced as it could be but better then it used to be.
PW=no jobs at all.
Character development
SRO=comes from lvling up, no special quests...just the same boring lvling and grinding.
PW=Special cultivation quests which unlock new quests, items and skills...also every 9 lvls a special FB quest where the player must enter a dungeon and kill a boss monster to gain special items and crap loads of exp.
Boss'
SRO= game has only 6 boss' they spawn every 3 hours.
PW= game has 100's of boss, they range from dungeon boss' to quest boss', they spawn every 5 mins.
Partying
SRO=Is a must for Euros if they want to lvl and survive, for Chinese party is only used for killing boss' or grinding lvling
PW= Not as important as in SRO, used for FB quests and for normal quests, easy way to get kills or items...any race and player can solo with ease.
