Anyone else made a male warrior using 2handed? Every once in a while, after a fight, for no reason, he'll be injured. He has never died in this play through, yet every other fight, he still ends up with an injury, I can't figure it out. My rogue has never had this problem.

Kinda sad that I mage my main character a controller/support mage since you get the Elven Girl who can perfectly fit that role. But I just turned her into a Primal DPS and I can't say I totally regret it, she has some great AoE.
I was doing it on Hard but some parts were just way too freaking hard, haha. So I just switched to casual to enjoy the story and whatnot, if I enjoy the game and finish it, I might then re-roll as something else and then I'll give myself a challenge, either on Hard or Nightmare.

I believe traps can injure you, perhaps that is why because your rogue can disarm traps?
Paying $64 bucks for this game seems like a total waste and I kind of really regret it. The gameplay is kind of bland, they changed way too many things for the worse making the game kind of confusing.
I don't really blame Bioware as much as EA because EA most likely rushed them... I mean what do you expect out of a sequel that was released only one year after its predecessor? DA:O Took years in development to make, and it shows.

Yeah, apparently it is traps, FML....
18 months since DA:O came out, but yes, still a rushed product, and it shows in the laziness of level design and a few other things. Basically ended up being DA:O v. 2.0, now they just need to patch to 2.1 to fix some of the stuff. (Really want to see some of the cooldowns lowered on spells/abilities.)

Just come back from the deep roads expedition and done a handful of side/party quests. Its very different from Dragon Age 1, more simple and striped down which i dont like in some reguards, but can understand why they have been done.
Also what the hell is up with Anders? was it so hard to find the same voice actor from awakenings

I received an e-mail from EA containing a code for the Staff or Parthalan, which does extra damage for fire spells, improves mana pool and mana stats.
I'm not going to get the game myself, and I don't know anyone who plays it, so the code is of no use for me. The code is only valid for either PC or Xbox 360. I'm not sure if it can be used multiple times, I doubt it, so first come, first served.
To prevent non-SRF'ers from getting the code, -unless guests can be bothered to register especially for the item - I'll write it down in my profile. You only have to click this link to find the code.
This is about an Act 3 quest so its a big spoiler alert here
Spoiler!
Just got up to the quest to find Nathaniel Howel in the deep road and after taking anders with me i meet up with him and he starts talking about why he is there (lost thaig). Only for him to say that i joined forces with the architect at the end of awakenings...i mean wtf, i killed that freak and am playing with an imported save that reflects that...so why is the game now saying different to what i did?

BioWare, I am very disappoint. I stand by what I said in my earlier post, the combat is very good and I like the new style BUT the graphics are worse, the gameplay is not smooth, everything is so damn choppy and everything I pick up is restricted to my character.
Can't believe I was so hyped about this, DA:O > DA2. It just doesn't give the same, epic feeling that Origins gave me this game is so...not Dragon Age.

Brb, going back to Origins.
I kind of like the new armor stuff. Companions get upgrades based on items found or something like that, and all the armor you find, is for you. Saves from having to check every friggin character and outfit them at the end of the game. As for graphics, haven't noticed a difference myself, looks almost exactly like Origins to me...

As for graphics i have mine set to medium and it looks amazing...i guess it depends on your card + drivers to get the best out of this game.
But as for the game itself....yes, this is NOWHERE as good as DA:O, its extremely simplified and the changes from DA:O to DA2 reminds me a lot of how ME changed into ME2, am sure others would agree as well. Character interactions work better now and i like the idea that different character reside in different places and not just around with you.
Yet the use of the same 4 areas to represent various caves and hideouts over and over was just lazy and shows what happens when you rush a game just to meet a company deadline for the end of the financial year (April, so there yearly profits are up from last year and shareholders are happy ¬_¬)
Various areas are also almost deserted save for the merchant and quest NPCs. Also the game doesn’t feel anywhere as big as the first one...but am sure we can expect numerous DLC packs to come out now ¬_¬

Hearing all this I'm glad I didn't get it at the release. Maybe I'll pick it up 2nd hand sometime but no way I'll spend 60 euro on this xD
It's not actually a bad game, it just doesn't live up to the expectations its predecessor left.
By the way guys, turn that screen space shit off. It just makes the game more laggy and as a little bonus, makes the graphics worse. Don't mean to brag but I got a pretty damn good pc and it runs fine on High, but as soon as I turn that screen space w/e on it starts to lag. And with the HD textures and stuff it actually looks pretty good.
And after giving this another try, as I said, its not that bad. Origins was just so amazing I expected the same, if not better, from this. It didn't deliver, good game nonetheless. The story is not that great (because there's not many options to go with unlike Origins)and as someone else has said, it doesn't feel like you're doing something that changes the world.

I tried Dragonage Origins and awakening . yeah liked the game but in midplay i accidentally found out that " Romance" shit , Really it is only like 10% that want sexual content in a GAME . i am not getting that 2nd version until they remove it even if it is free i won't get it .

I don't romance them , but i don't want a friend or family member to see it accidentally while playing as they love action games and i don't relly care much anymore about that game anymore as i know they won't remove it but that was my 2 cents ( Deleted it after completing , yup serious ) .

I mean they visit me , Sometimes Play on PC and they take the games, films.etc that they like if i don't mind (99.9% of the times i don't mind ). Luckily the 16 GB flash got full with other stuff .
