Reminds me a lot of Lineage II. Looks fun though, when I get my next months internet I might give it a shot.

Just updated the first page, since I was with Melez earlier this morning and watching how he attacked lol <33 Newly added Quote: Additional help (Especially for magic based classes)If you are going to be a magic, crossbow or a launcher user you will have to be at a distance to attack an enemy. You'll also have to continue to retreat from them as they advance towards you, for magic users this makes your attack stronger and also if you are too close you can't use some of the skills. The " s" key (This can be changed to any key you like) allows you to move backwards while facing the enemy. This is important to use because running around them will only get you killed, confused, accidentally alert another aggro monster or almost killed. Also an important thing to note - right clicking a monster targets them but you don't attack. If you accidentally left click to attack a monster and don't want to you can push the escape button to cancel. Stepping back this way also decreases the damage monsters inflict on you. A helpful screenshot of basic settings here

The gameplay of the game is much slower, and there are no mobs in groups just waiting for you to open a door or something. I find Hellgate London a closest clone of Diablo.

DL'ed client in 1hour 15-20 minutes. Started installing. Found it was corrupt.
Somehow every game I try to DL gets corrupted. First PW, now Requiem. I guess it's a sign from the internetgods

Lol so far I'm level 15 and just got instant accel and shadowrunner (keeping it at lv.1). 50k....meh. It's so freakin hard to earn money in this game but I guess I'll try selling my reinforced noob crap later on. I found, re-reinforced, and compounded a pair of above-average lvl 15 dual swords (10 points higher than other reinforced items) so I guess i'll level much faster now. BTW, any permanent avatars available? Rentals annoy the living crap out of me.

Not to mention if I get 3 or more monsters around my level on me--I'm dead. Why don't you do quests? You won't be lacking in money and Requiem doesn't really revolve around solely grinding, I'd say it's unadvised really. Vital of hp/mp you should only need around 20 before level 10 and a steady amount of 40 higher level ones until at 20. leveling up is easy at any level as long as you do quests. At 30-ish money can be hard because the Rex (mount) costs 50k.

Refining in this game is way diff, you don't really + things up, but you kinda change it, kinda like how each weapon for a degree in sro is, like they have diff names but called the same type of thing. It;s like if sro had an elixer for every degreee of weapon, then an elixer for each +, so if you wanted to make a lvl 64 weapon +7, you'd need an 8th degree +1 elixer, then an 8th degree +2 elixer, then 7th degree +3 elixer lol ect. When you compound it its not +1 but rather puts something in front of the weapons name, pretty much stands for +1 though. I think it's like Fortis = +1, Ampillo = +2, not sure the rest, but it's easy to find the stuff, the only bad thing is if you fail when you compound something it's destroyed, or can be. We haven't even need to try compunding though, we just "reinforced" stuff, it's just since it binds to you and you cant trade it after you eq it. _IceCold_ wrote: Thanks, doing fine with my Lv12 magician now,I find lots of good gear !!! but i also found some stones with like +2CON and on my armor i notice that i can place 1 Reinforcement. Can I combine those 2, if yes how and where ? This is also pretty easy, you just goto the item reduction blacksmith, break some crap eq you find and get Simple Basic Xeons, when you have those you can goto the reinforcement guy who should be close by, put the eq you wanna reinforce in there put the red xeon witht he stat want in it, then how ever many simple ones it needs, then add ur stat.

And I'm married to PKing >.< Girlfriend also likes to PK so she's playing in Hammerine with me...I'm strongly considering coming to Lintra though. Btw, I did the prison quests alone. I just had to kill enough spirits to get deeper into the cave before using my shadowrunner to get to my targets.
