Hey, I've had the Nintendo Ds for a while now, when it first came out, I was excited for the titles of Mario Kart DS and Metroid Prime Hunters, then afterwards I was enjoying the New Super Mario Bros, but since then, I've noticed a lack of good titles, at least that have come to my attention. I was thinking about getting Trauma Center, but never did.
Anyways, what are some good games for the Nintendo DS? All the ones I've seen look really gay, and any that seem to have some potential look rather slaughtered in screenshots, and they're not making good use of the potential graphics.
Metroid Prime hunters was amazingly executed, an excellent addition to the Metroid line, it was a little different for it had unorthodox beam attacks, but they were well appreciated and some of them emulated other beams from previous games, and the graphics were Farking great.
Mario Kart DS was an excellent title, played well and never got old, excellent graphics as well and I appreciated how they refrained from using the touch screen, for it didn't need it.
New Super Mario Bros was an interesting one... I liked the graphics update, the new innovations like the Mega and Mini Mushrooms and I enjoyed how the star made you glow like in Super Mario 64 as opposed to the original "glowing" animation. However, the gameplay was so easy, I was able to beat it in a matter of hours, unlike the previous games which took me a few days because some levels were too hard. So it was good, but too easy.
But now... What are some good games? They all look shitty. Please SRF, enlighten me with the knowledge of some excellent DS titles. Thank you.

Since you didn't really list a general genre of games that you're looking for I'm going to list some from different genres. The only DS games that I've actually played are the 4 Ace Attorney games which have to be some of my favorite games I ever played. Other games I haven't played but Other games I've heard good things about would have to be The World Ends With You, the Star Fox game, and Elite Beat Agents. Also if you're into turn based strategy games you should check out the Advanced Wars games or, if you can find a copy, the Front Mission remake (the original I have played and it's a great game).

It might be weird to have to be shouting into the mic to do stuff. What I was thinking about getting, after some research: Final Fantasy IV Super Mario 64 DS Maybe Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass? Probably not though, not yet anyways. Still thinking about Trama Center. This looks quite nice, but I might get FFIV first, unless this is recommended. I like how it's by the same team as kingdom hearts, because I think that game's a classic.

I just saw a review of a guy who had one, and it looks badass, where does the mini disk (or whatever it's called) plug into your computer though? And what are you able to run on it? Is there a snes emulator for it? can it run colors!? If so, then I'd definately buy it.
