I probably should've asked this before i bought and downloaded it off steam but it was kind of a spur of the moment deal...ANYWAY can i use my xbox controller to play this game cause i hate using keyboards and mouses to play FPSs and i really like TF2 but the 360 version has to pay for the updates which is ridiculous especially when valve wanted to give them away for free so.

Yes, but you need to buy like one of those 40$ pc-360 controller dongles from Microsoft

Unless you use the wired ones of course

I think you'll be at a major disadvantage to people who are using a mouse+ keyboard, since you can't aim as good as them.

PC vs Console is a neverending arguement. It is a matter of preference.

Well this is the first time I've heard someone say FPS with controllers is better for him. But whatever works for you.
I can really respect people who have mouse like aim on controllers, it's pretty sick.

lol CoD4 on 360 is the joke of "competitive" gaming.

I wish I could have a mouse/keyboard for the 360, but I guess it is just not meant to be.

+1.

People that have been playing COD4 on control pad since it came out have built up the aiming competency of most pc gamers. It's a different interface, and has a huge learning curve because most of us have been gaming with mice, but it's definitely achievable to have the same aiming ability on control pad.

But for these people that have been playing hours every day for years, they not only have mouse aim with a control pad, but aim assist. It's ridiculous.

Following videos are on xbox

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

Same guy in both videos.
