its a lot of fun, lots of quests to do and is NOT a grindfest. the skill system is very...different though, there is no button mashing. e.g. when you get your basic [enter weapon here] skill if you select it you will automatically use it, and every time you use it, it gains say 5% and when it reaches 100% you get the 2nd lvl of the skill. and when you reach the 3rd and 5th lvl some extra hits are added on...hard to explain you need to see for yourself

there are white and black clans, they both have 3 clans and white clans cant grind with black clans till later lvls (80+ i think)

white clans are:
The League of Beggars
Wu-Tang
Shaolin

black clans are:
Heavenly Demon
Sacred Flower
Brotherhood of Theives

im heavenly demon and play on server bardo (eu) if anyone is interested...

one last thing, the lvl system is a bit different, if your lvl 5 it wouldnt just say "level 5" it would say "Losing Self 5". there are different ranks, and 12 lvls in each rank

1 - 12 Cheng 1-12 of Losing Self
13 - 24 Cheng 1-12 of Gathering Chi
25 - 36 Cheng 1-12 of Opening Chi (A role can be chosen at Opening Chi 1)
37 - 48 Cheng 1-12 of Revolving Chakra
49 - 60 Cheng 1-12 of Raising Light (Raising Light 12 is the maximum level at which a player can change the role of their character)
61 - 72 Cheng 1-12 of Five Dragons (The minimum requirement for players to wear Mansion (white clan) and Wild Tower (Black Clan) clothes at FD12)
73 - 84 Cheng 1-12 of Sun and Moon
85 - 96 Cheng 1-12 of Golden Blossoms
97 - 108 Cheng 1-12 of Elemental Crown (A player can upgrade their role at Elemental Crown 6 (lvl 102) and wear their new clan clothes at EC 8 (lvl 104))*
109 - 120 Cheng 1-12 of Floral Crown
121 - 132 Cheng 1-12 of Crimson Snake (Cheng 3 of Crimson Snake (lvl 123) is the lowest level of mobs on the new map North Sea Icy Palace)

also, a tip for noobs if you find a Blood Essence dont be fooled by people who want to buy it for 20k, its worth almost 1mil! money is really hard to get, at my lvl (37) i have 620k, i'd have around 60k if i didnt find a blood essence

Godamn. I actually played for a few days on your server, got to like level 25 (1 of opening chi). There was a bitch Heavenly Demon quest there - with some blood chimera horns or something like that - and I couldn't do it in about 50 tries. I might redownload it though.

you should wait until 25 to do that quest, also you only need to kill the lvl 23 chimeras, not any others.

Hurr. Just downloaded, tried them chimeras just for why not, and boom - got it on the first go. Talk about fail.

trust me, this game is twice or more the grindfest you find in sro.

I was Sun and Moon, stopped playing.

Being a buffer sucks since you need to level up your skills, you'll find a lot of people afk in town jamming their keyboards doing the same skill for days to level up.

Trust me, this game is super fun, but the grindfest is worse than any other mmo i've ever played.

well there are always quests to pre-occupy you =]

Bullshit, Five Dragons reporting in and leveling was easy but skills? Seriously? I remember times during the summer I played 9 dragons I left my dude afk meditating or doing a buff. Shit is a grindfest if you want your skills to be anywhere near decent.
