Didn't really like the 3 player system at first, but it could actually be pretty awesome. Each of the characters has something cool about them. Can't wait for the game. And then die of sadness when I see the system requirements.

Really?
My PC doesn't have the best hardware in it so I'm worried it might not run good enough with low settings. I can run newer games with medium settings, but not every game is the same. For example, The Witcher 2 on the lowest settings possible was still about 10 or less fps.

I'm sure they will. No wise man would choose to skip on releasing a very successful game such as this on PC.

I guess Red Dead wasn't successful. Then again Rockstar had a LOT of issues with programming and various other issues. It was a 'miracle' to get out the door. I'm glad it did

What's so terrible about it? I've heard people weren't too happy, but I haven't tried it myself yet. Going through SA right now.

AC is just about the worst port I've seen... though I judge the ports mostly by how obvious it is that they were created for a console. Anyway, AC has some of the most farked up controls I've seen in a long time. Things that could've been much simpler if it was intended as a PC release. all the interfaces as well...

Though the game doesn't seem to cause lagspikes for me, I can easily tell it wasn't intended to be played on a pc and thus the experience is kinda meh.

I don't know, imo, the controls were nothing bad, what caused problems for me were the random weird camera angles when climbing in tombs and such places.
But imo, the worst console port I've played is Resident Evil 4, no need to even explain. :)

That's not too bad. :D But generally I don't like having to hold either of the mouse buttons, those are meant for clicking. But how else would they have done the high/low profile thingy? It wouldn't have worked out if you had to hold three keyboard buttons because that would have made things a bit difficult. But what I definitely didn't like was the fact that Ezio stole from every single civilian he met while having a bit of a faster walk with a friend.

The whole low/high profile thing was useless to begin with. The only thing that it mattered for was your movement speed. and some minor interactions.

run - space
jog - standard
walk - shift ~ walk automatically lets you not break the vases... because what the hell is the point of walking otherwise anyway.

I guess a few other ones will need rebinding too, but it's better than holding multiple buttons to perform simple actions...

This game is going to suck... Piss poor storyline, crappy controls, and horrible graphics. Rockstar can't make a game for shit... I'll stick with the original sandbox shooter, Saints Row.

When you troll right, people won't be sure you trolled at all.

I'd say run - shift, walk - alt, space - jump, fast walk - shift + alt.

didn't the game have auto-jump while running? and what's the standard mode of transportation then... you need to hold 2 keys to even move xD?

I believe it does, but you should be able to jump any time you want and you could when double-tapping space. As you said, jogging would be the standard movement mode.

No freedom jumping is probably the sole reason why I can't get myself to play zelda games...
I don't understand how anyone ever thought autojump would be a good idea...

So 17. September is the date now. I was expecting a delay like this.

Only 1 to run (if we exclude W to move forward) and 2 to sprint and climb the buildings/etc. And in AC3 they've made it only 1 to sprint/climb (again, if we exclude W).

Btw, I hate when in games I can never match the speed of an NPC I'm supposed to follow. They should make a keyboard with pressure sensitivity for movement buttons.

In RDR (Red Dead Redemption) they fixed that fairly well. By holding A (for the xbox) while near the NPC you are supposed to follow it would match the speed of that NPC, even auto steer a bit. Since that was a Rockstar game too, who knows they'll implement it here too :)

Hmm, it was also in some AC. Brotherhood I think. But I don't recall that being in AC3. :/
But pressure sensitivity would be more useful in games where driving is also involved, like GTA. Because you can't use a steering wheel for it and it would be nice to be able to choose your speed.
