anyone here know any good and truely scary horror games for PC. I need a good scare once in a while. Gets you pumping ><, Don't suggest console games I have played most of them and they are nice.

dont know if itll scare u but ehre are some good games:
Bioshock
F.E.A.R.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R (i heard it was good)
Thats all i can think of for now

gratz on 1k posts  anyway the only one i can really think of is this half life series, it could really go either way of being one or not being one. it has zombies, head humpers, and huge ass dog things that like to rip the shit out of you. but then also has the common soldier enemy. so yeah no really a full fledge horror game but its close enough i think  oh and as posted above fear for sure. and stalker is a good game, i havent really played it but my dad has played it numerous times in different situations and said it was a very good game.

Bioshock is a really good game with a good story... It is scary but more creepy than anything.

Play STALKER. Great game, the sounds and just the atmosphere is creepy. Not to mention the mutated animals aren't scripted so they do a lot of weird things. Plus, when you first run into a blood sucker and hear is scream, its freaky.

The only games which scared me when i was about 16 was
F.E.A.R
And Farcry with its GIANT FLYING BUTT RAPING MONKEYS!!! SHIT!!!!!!

fear, bioshock, half life 2 series in some parts but not much, good game all around tho u should check it out ^^. F.E.A.R. is by far the scariest imo, great gameplay as well. I have bioshock but havn't gotten around to playing it, I've beat a couple levels. I wasn't really that scared ever only slightly startled. Fear and that freakish alma kid is pretty creapy lol

quake 4 and doom3 both are pretty fun.
Half-life(all)
Far cry
Call of duty 4 zombie mod is amazing
Counter-strike source zombie mod is ok but cod4 mod is better.
Left 4 death is coming out sometime, it will rock.
