Important stuff in blue, technical crap in red
well everyone hated on my other anti-bot ideas so I came up with another one. This one's even more feasible and easy to do. All you have to do is get who knows how many ppl but probably like 50 or so and have them all use a non-damaging targetted skill on them at once like force heal or force cure or ice or something.
So in a perfect setting, one person counts down and then BAM 50 people hit them with force heal within a second and they disconnect. Why would this happen? Well there's a couple reasons
First, with multi-client bots or whatever they're called, the resources of the computer are extremely stressed already. If you do something like that to them and they have the detail setting high enough, it could easily freeze their computer long enough that they'd disconnect. Just processing WTF happened to their HP could freeze it long enough, especially if everyone kept doing it nonstop. So what happens when you freeze the comp of one multi-client bot? That's right, they all disconnect! So getting rid of one really gets rid of several. I have no idea how many clients can run on one comp though.
Much more likely though is it would just overload something in the game and crash it for them. Some sort of strange limit would probably get exceeded and the bot's client would just crash.
Speaking of that, if you get enough ppl with vital spot with the new and improved glitch thanks to the last update, you can have one single person keep 4 vital spots boxes at a time on them without turning pink. So get 50 people and you have 200 vital spot boxes trying to show up on them. I'm pretty sure the game can only do like 2-3 rows of buffs/effects before the client goes OH SHIT ?????? and crashes. That would probably crash everyone who has them selected too though lol.
So yeah, if someone has a union with lots of ppl online at once, all get together and wail on a gold farming bot with healing moves or vital spot and see what happens.
Oops I almost forgot to go back to mentioning ice. If enough ppl attack a bot with a freeze attack (yes that would turn everyone pink ) and you just keep compounding it, the total effect is stored as an integer in memory and depending upon what specific integer data type they used, it could in fact go over it and crash. The most common integer limit is 255 but I'm pretty sure that's not it so you might have to go up to the 32 thousand and whatever one, which would take a while lol. But I guess that one was worth mentioning.

are you trying to imply that all botters have more than one client opened at once?

lol no, but it's more likely to just crash the game than to freeze a multi-client one so it don't really matter. And yes, I DO care about just disconnecting one botter lol. Btw there's a glitch related to party invites that for sure crashes my client every single time I do it and might crash for the other person. I'll test it more later but if it works, I hope there are some "suicide crashers" here that will help me get rid of some bots You know most ppl don't check their bots for hours so when U crash em, they're gone for a while

lol now it's all color coded for easy readability I guess nobody really needs to know why it will work, just that it probably will but for the ppl that are gonna try and bitch that it won't, read the red first hehehe

stressed resources...?
my intel core 2 duo @ 2.4 Ghz can handle SRO, dvd burning, and defragmentation at the same time.

My AMD X2 4400+ can do all that while making me a sandwich lol
btw defragmenting takes almost no processing and TONS of disk read/write time so that has nothing to do with the processor

Seriously desolater I love you and your so called tech stuff. Do I have to re-remind you of your failed security shit?
Oh and with the chinese clientless you can run 15 w/o any problems. Having 89846032746 people heal one of your clients ... would not make a difference. Hell it'd most probably disconnect the people looking at it.
Can't wait for your next uber anti bot thread.

i suggest you at least try to explain it to him since you know a lot about this subject i do hope you can at least enlighten him with your knowledge.
desolator144 your ideas are just theories not the facts behind on how you can actually fix this problem, you can keep assuming and making theories but they wont work.

evereybody is whining about : ,,OMGGG BOTTERS AGAIN, JOYMAX FIX IT''
altleast desolator is trying to do something about it....
look at all the reactions they are ( almost ) all negative, I don't understand why you guys are so cold against desolator. if you don't agree to his ideas, fine but then stop whining about the bots and logging in

Clientless bot and bot with client is different. And most gold bots are clientless.

Not really, they use more programs than just a bot. They use optimizers that lowers the cpu usage drastically, they can have 10 clients running and still use less memory than a normal player, they can make all their game screens appear black and white to reduce even more usage.
Even if you did manage to dc one they all have auto logins now.
They'll get banned eventually anyway cuz they need a hacked client to make the game run and JM can detect those.

Some goldsellers use clientless bots. They can easily have 50+ clients on one computer. It's because only the computer info is processed. The game is run through a console. No graphics, sound or anything like that is processed.
If any of you guys have ever run a dedicated server for a game such as quake 3 you will understand what I'm talking about.
-edit- Oh and this thing with the force heal probably wouldn't work. :/

you don`t need to try it, ask drew_benton, he sure knows a lot about multi clients and 3rd party programs.
The only thing that can solve this 3rd party programs problem is Joymax and if they really wanted, this problem would never got out of hand but now they need to clean a mess that has been going on for months/years quite harder to clean it now since the bots that will be banned are the new ones anyone who botted to 80 and stopped is considered safe (well at least i don`t have any contacts that claimed the other way)
instead of wasting our time trying to disconnect bots lets waste our time getting our levels and hope to hit 80 one day.

Drew_Benton wrote: You are wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to start... \
lol, oh is that why you don't know where to start? I thought for sure it's because you have absolutely nothing to back that up. Nobody can really say it does or doesn't crash your client unless they try and like I probably forgot to say, I don't exactly have a gigantic guild and I'm not in a union so I'd never be able to get that many ppl together.
Also, the other glitch I was talking about in fact does not work thanks to HUN_a_Nuker for helping me test it but just for somethin to do, the next time someone sends you a party invite, don't accept or deny it, just leave it up. Go into the game configuration and disable party invites and the game with immediately crash unfortunately, it only crashes on your side. Darn.
Oh and also I am working on a horrible, inhuman, torturous anti-bot measure. I'm very, pretty, sorta sure I can modify my kèŷbøárđ ĺáŷøµ† møđ̓Íèr to display a special character on the ASCII table called a bell. When windows sees a bell, the internal system speakers beeps and there's no way to stop it other than cutting the cable inside your computer that goes to that speaker lol Trust me, if the person's there babysitting, that will get real annoying, real fast if I kept spamming them with strings of it. Imagine a whole room full of gold farming computers in china (yes that is how they do it, I saw it on BBC) with every single computer beeping its internal beep nonstop. hahaha take that botters. I also have one other maniacal idea to test that's a bit more difficult.
