I did it back in the day to confuse a friend. Telling him I could run 94 BF1942's on a VERY old P3 900 MHz .

You have to download a 3rd party program to modify the .pk2 files.

And you are? If you look in the guides section you'll find a ton of guides about pk2 editing. I guess the mods just haven't found them yet!

Yeah, if pk2 editing is considered a '3rd party program' there isn't gonna be multiple topics in the guide's section on how to do it.

Pk2 editing is a banable offense for official sro, not srf.

Most people don't call it a 3rd Party Program, but it is. In some cases it can give advantages such as larger uniques & the new stealth/inivisble detect.

Don't even start with the pk2 edit bullshit. SRF CLEARLY stated their stance on it so stop trying to defend yourself.

Pk2 would be a modification or 'hack', not a 3rd party program. The only Pk2 that is censored (so far) is the invisible/stealth 'hack'. The moderation team refers to the Joymax ToS for ideas, but we don't follow every bit of it, and if we did follow the Joymax ToS we would be able to ban any user at our discretion. Joymax' ToS=Vague, so Vague, that if they decided to ban 200 people for suspicion of Internet Explorer use while playing sro, they could. At least our rules are straightforward enough to understand.
