I figured I'd bump this thread instead of starting a new one. My wife is scheduled to have a c-section on March 17th. So we're having our second baby on St. Patrick's day!

That is unless she goes into labor sooner, but at least we have a planned date.

I've never had a wedding, or baby shower, or graduation, or ritual sacrifice, or any other type of ceremony in SRO, either related to real life events, or strictly in-game.

However, SRO is an MMORPG. It has role playing aspects to it. So when you play, it should be acceptable - almost expected perhaps in some people's eyes - for you to take on the role of your character entirely.

I guess you could just treat it as an MMO and just play the game to try and level up, etc. You could also take on the RPG part of it and form in-game relationships with other characters, which could include marriage.

Anyway, thanks everyone. Our delivery date is coming up quick!

Correction: 23 month child (as of March 26).

I can see the confusion though. The topic title after all talks about weddings in SRO. It's just perhaps a bad title.
