Warrior/Cleric gets bind too so it can have a respectable 100% boost to Cunning Stab without knockdown, giving enough time to also follow up with Double Stab for the 100% boost. Still, it is a defensive Warrior as you say...

And for the guy interested in Warlocks at higher caps...

RoFL, where do these guys get the idea that somehow Dull with KD would mean 100% Damage Increase? Even with Dull, KD and even Stun at the same time, it stays at 50% Damage Increase...

Also, doubt Panic even lands on Ppl with Holy Spell... Plus, how come no one takes in account that Cleric have a spell that cures pretty much every status you can land on them, if you can, instantly? Also, Recovery Division reflects from the time you cast it, not from when it's just retained as a buff...

So, to those noobs running around with Noob Cleric Rods... Here's something for you:

Weapon Reflected Bonus Formula: Rod's Average Magic Attack X Magical Balance % X Weapon Reflect % = HP Heal Bonus

Try it yourself... It stacks...

And Panic goes through Holy Spell...

And Recovery Division is off your current magical attack power, not your weapon attack power only. The weapon is important for the boost it gives to your magical attack power and your balances have nothing to do with it...

Wow, I almost tried to get in game and TEST the stacking, then you had to edit and add that stuff about Rec Div... Hehe... Too tempting... Noooo...

So, in the end, when i'm holding a Rod and cast RD, then switch to the Sword, then does it mean the healing gets slower ? Like, from 3k+ / 5sec to 1k2 / 5sec at lv 80 :roll:

Seriously, Warlock is farrr to tempting ATM :shock:

Yeah that happens. The heals aren't as powerful when you switch back. Same with the healing cycle/orbit aswell. Doesn't make it totally useless because it still helps. In my opinion impotent and vampire skills for the warlock/warrior build will do you just as well, along with all the other means of tanking (stun sleep knock back knock down dull). Damage prevented via interruption contributes on a whole to ones tanking abilities.

that's what i do :D shield trash+warlock stun+sleep/loop... and all the time keep dull/bleed dots on them, even if you are pure str if you do this, they wont get in a good hit so you wont ever die :D but since you arent really attacking you wont kill him but it'll annoy him enough to quit

my verison of blader = pot fight = too much annoyance to fight

Not true... Like I said, it remains constant from when you cast it...

Say Rec Div Lv 7... 1604 HP Recovery + 105% Weapon Reflect Bonus, Where Bonus = Rod's Average Magic Attack X Magical Balance % X Weapon Reflect %...

If you have a 1700 Matk Average Rod (Low + High / 2) And say 45% Magical Balance being a Pure Str... Rec Div would heal you for [1604 + {1700(.45 x 1.05)}]Hp Every 2~3 Seconds... So much misconception but, even if you try it yourself, when you switch, it doesn't just heal you for 1604 hp...

Also, another thing to clear... The Stacking of Warrior Chains is just what the Skill defines, extra damage if the opponent is under Bind, Sleep, Stun or Dull then the 50% Extra Damage if the opponent happens to be Knocked Down...

So say, U got them Dulled and Bound or maybe even stunned, u still just do the extra Damage... And if You could Knock The Opponent Down Under those status, then It's amplified further more by 50%.

Since it made me curious, I just tested it... 3.5kish On first hit on Party general with Triple Swing w/o WarCry... Then I dull and I bind, I do about 4.9kish, then I KD and First hit Does 7Kish... Never used to notice before, now that I do, Wow, so that's how they die so fast... RoFL!

Thats what I always do: Dull ~> Warcry ~> KD ~> Bash (and pray for a crit).

Bash? Bash Doesn't have the Extra Damage from Status... Only the Chains... Bash is nice tho, when KDed and u hit a crit, its gameover :P

Nono.... absorbtion rate does not absorbs the % of the damage
if you' got sun accessories youll get almost 90% absorbtion and thats not the case.
IMHO absorbtion works with an other formula

Well, when u nuke a mangyang. U can nuke up to 100k dmg, so when u nuke player, u can only nuke 10k dmg. Isnt it 10%? 8)

I recently started making a warlock/wizard, just because Ive always wanted a warlock and wizard (2 birds, 1 stone) so ya so far its awesome.
I should have made my warrior sub warlock but im happy with sub cleric ^^
But ya warlock is a very good build I recommend it if you like to help out cuz u can do alot with the debuffs and status and that damn scream mask grrr

You dont need a fire wall for warrior/lock. That sun force fire bowman on alps shouldve been able to take u out had he had light maxed instead of fire.


Then you have never faced a real warrior warlock. First of all, after being debuffed, you should be stunned by warlock skills, then i swap over to me sword and shield, sprint assault and start attacking (your still stunned, just coming out) As soon as i see you attempt to use force healing, kb, its canceled. and your likely dead at this point because my daring beserk on a full garm +6 set does 2-2-3-3 k damage, thats 10k, plus hidden which is 6.5k, plus quad stab which is 3-2-2-3, throw a crit in there and its even more over kill.

It kind of saddens me to hear all these stories about war/locks and I just have to shake my head in disbelief at how people can be so damn terrible with a great build. I guess there are not people that play a game, learn it, and then use that knowledge to become better. Most of them are stuck in the "spam skillz and i winz lololo " mode....its sad :( Vapore and I have a riot on alps, its great because we seem to be the only ones with real war/locks.


wtf are u talking about, you can't close the gap between a phantom + cure therapy quick enough.
The sun fire force bow on ur server is noob shit, his light is obviously low lvl which is ridiculous considering he's a bowman.

whats his build? 80 fire 80 pacheon 80 force 60 light? lol... 30 light 30 ice to squeeze some snow in there? lololol.
he might as well be a glaiver, his range is completely gone 2 seconds into the pvp and the only range he'll ever see is when u knock him back with shield crush.

Force cure isnt even necessary. What are u gonna do to stop a force bowman with max light and force? stun and kb all the time? You can't immobilize him enough to cast the debuffs needed to kill him, and when theyre set and u try to launch your chain of attack..phantom cure therapy and enough of them are gone to keep him alive. Come 90 cap with a longer phantom, division on you with 90 force, and and eventually 2 kbing arrow combos itll be even tougher. The only thing scary about the lock is the hidden trap >_> :x

Yes, that is when axes against others. here we are talking about warlock. I have a warlock/1H, but when i pvp an axe, i feel not as easy as killing others. its really hard to debuff axes.

I m not talking about theory. i m talking about my own experience. when i use my lovely warlock to pvp axes, i got a lot of "resisted", then i started to bleed...Well, i still get good chance to win axes, but not as easy as dealing others.

bytheway, anybody knows how mirage works? i tested on some monsters but seems no function at all. reduce aggro should stop their atking on me, but not really. thanx.

That double post is already half of your post count... Great!...

Mirage works on any weapon. When you use Mirage it can reduce aggro. So if a monster is attacking you and you use this they will stop, hopefully.

If a monster that is originally non-aggro begins attacking you, Mirage will make it stop. But if the mob was aggro to begin with, it will not stop attacking.

If you have Recovery Division activated, it will have no effect because Recovery Division constantly aggros mobs towards you.

I would like to point out to everyone, warlock may not be as fun as you think. Dont get me wrong, i LOVED it, but after a while, I couldnt do anything. At lvl 77 I could kill anyone. At lvl 80 i only got stronger with my new skill. I had to beg people to pvp me. I would beg like a 10k plys turk for pvp from fully equiped sun chars. All for what? 15 second pvp, they die, start to complain and the fun is over :( . It got so bad, that I couldn't even job war. I would go to east dw, start fighting, and suddenly...all the thieves are gone :? . If im hunting a trade, most thieves dont come back after they have been killed, because they know its useless to fight a euro party of hunters, especially with a warrior warlock in there.

My 1h warrior / warlock is by far the strongest char I have ever made, still undefeated on alps, but in terms of funness, I would have to go with my glaiver just because he can lose.


I read this whole thread and it has very good points, then I realized this "wait I've pvprd him also and have won, but I do agree I dont think theres too many people on our server that can beat you. but if I get mana drain and fear on you its also game over unless you get stun or sleep.

and yes you know that im making a 1h/DA warrior/warlock, but its only lvl 30 right now with 80k sp.
