Any one play Pokemon Netbattle? <~ The new-gen people are boring with their OU parties.

the main page says that game is dead now...

So says the original maker. The game is in the hands of some one else now, cba to find their site though. I'll look for it, but the game is alive and kicking, there are still plenty of servers. The big name servers have long moved on and been replaced by some new ones that I'm unfamiliar with.

AHH ~ the server that banned me back in 2000 for beating the admin in a battle no longer supports netbattle. Smogon these guys were huge on UU teams. Yeah, but there are plenty of servers to choose from and you can pick your own.

Most old skool people have ditched NetBattle for Competitive WiFi tourneys.

EDIT: hmm, it can't be 2000 because I first played NB in 7th grade. It was 2003-2004 somewhere in there I was banzored

Actually most people use Shoddy Battle now. WiFi is too overrun by hackers using illegal moves and stuff. =/

It's no different now, you still see the same teams of things running around. *sighs*

Actually it's more rampant on PBR then anywhere else by the sounds of it... as long as you exclude the GTS that is.

Eh, I'm glad I bought new internet instead of pkmn diamond. El-Oh-El I wonder how they will like my 3rd Gen UU team.

WiFi's fine as long as you stick to battling and trading people you know. That way you won't run the risk of getting hacked Pokemon.

Though I haven't touched Pearl for aaaages. Might go for a Tower record later, who knows.
