Hello.

Well, I believe that OoT is a way under-appreciated game. Back when it came out, it was great. I was afraid to walk the field at night because of the never-ending mob of zombie-dudes. What was even more terrifying for me was when I first morphed into adult-Link and everything was all spooky and the town-zombies kept trying to rape me.

I have recently started playing again, and I have to give kudos to anyone who ever took part in the making of this game. Every time I play it, its a new game; I love it.

Every time I play a new game, I compare it to OoT; and for me, Ocarina of Time has been (up to date) the greatest, most complete, enjoyable, and interesting game ever made.

Woohoo for Link.

OOT was the zelda all the kids remember for some reason, first were better for the NES and SNES, only one i cant stand playing is OOT. Link to the past is the best one ever. But most kids havnt even played them on the NES (dont mean those shitty GC ports)

Well, IME from talking to online-gamers about games, OoT always gets bashed out with the excuse of it "Having shippy graphix" or the occasional "I've never played it, but it looks suky."

I didn't have any money to buy a memory-card at the time...now I'm seriously thinking of getting one to finally play the game. (I bought the game, but then found out about my memory-card problem :banghead: :P )

I love Ocarina of Time. For a 3D Zelda game, it was an actual challenge. The storyline was good, and the dungeons became such a pain at times. (*coughWaterTemplecough*)

Though whenever I go to play it again, I keep trying to do the side rolls and shield parries... >___< Curse you Twilight Princess.

I have no need to play it on my PC. I have it on the 64, the Master Quest disc for my GCN AND the Collector's Edition disc for my GCN. :P

Draquish, Wind Waker is one you can't judge on face value. I thoroughly enjoyed playing every second of it, despite the graphics. It has probably the most fluent and fast paced battle system in all the 3D Zeldas to date.

I agree, imo best game ever, OR Majora's Mask. What are you talking about by the way, everyone loved Ocarina of Time, it's not underappreciated at all.

MM was WAY underappreciated, I don't think anybody realized the pure genious of it all, everything tied together perfectly, but it didn't rely too much on coincidence.

Play majora's mask man, at first you'll be like "wut", but then after you get out of the deku mask, I'm sure you'll love it.

yes one of the best games created in all time.
under-appreciated? definitely not.
and yea Windwaker's art style is just an illusion to the quality fo the game. Indeed one of my favorite int eh series.
For those that say the SNES and NES ones were the best, u have tor remember that not everyone likes 2D lol. I for one stay away from "2D" games.

I never played Majora's but i hope to use my desire to play it to take out my n64 from under the bed heh.

LOL draq, same feeling i had when walking at night on the field in OoT.

OoT isn't under-appreciated. If you wanna talk about under-appreciated talk about SoC, Or ICO.

Your right (i loved SoC btw :) ) but regarding Zelda games, i think WW was under-appreciated.

I loved Ocarina of Time also. It always kept me going for what's next, same as Castlevania 64 (if you liked OoT, try Castlevania,a really nice game of a similar, yet creepier style).

You should play Twilight Princess, it's almost the same as OoT but with better graphics, physics, more moves, etc. The story is a bit different but the game is as atmospheric and immersive.

I couldn't play Majora's for long, a bit weird for me but i'm sure i'll do soon, same for WW.

they all good games, but zelda: a link to the past will always be the
best zelda to me <3

twilight princess was an allright game, but they spent more time on working
out the controls than on the storyline.

Definately best game ever made imo. Good story, good music, good gameplay, good gfx (for N64). It was crazy u could fish, play ocarina, throw bombs, ride a horse (and then shooting arrows while riding omg)!!!

twilight princess seemt good but never played it

Twilight Princess was too much of a game where the developers were like, "We'll spend as much time working on making this game LOOK good, screw the rest." After playing through the others, combat in Twilight Princess seems really really slow. The mechanics are nice, but it's just too slow.

The story also doesn't exactly allow you much freedom in regards of extras. Most things which are important for character development are in already, yet I liked having to do side quests in things like OoT and MM to find out more about people.

TP was too hyped up and definitely suffered from "Shiny Object Syndrome." :P
