I still don't know what that monster is. Wiki says it's some sort of cyber thingy.
My brother told me it was a dinosaur lol, a bit disapointed when I discovered the truth

What truth ?
What the hell, from the past 3 comments .. excluding mine it seems I have watched a different season 4 final. Or does America get some special episode ??!

I'm basing it off from the very last minutes of the finale. Last season has the best cliff hanger ending I've ever seen in a television series. I expected them to make this one better, or at least, on par. But I guess I expected too much.
obv, but season 3 finale, he died because he was trying to tell them that it wasnt pennys boat
etc etc. and desmond finally finds penny. makes it all more meaningful to me tbh.
Ah, I see where you were heading.
That was actually for me the best part in the episode .. where
Spoiler!
Desmond meets up with Penny, because all I had been hearing was that Dessie died ;s
... Such a good thing to add.
Also, hmm well in a way Izach I agree. But this season's cliffhanger means so much more if you start thinking about it deeply. I mean,
Spoiler!
How did Locke die? How did het get off the island? What happened to the island now, because Jack says it all went bad? Why do they all need to go back? Why does the 'dead' Locke have to come? What happens next~?
So many questions, all tho I'm happy the whole ' Island moving ' theory has been shed some light.

The finale was...just that...a finale...Answered a lot of questions that the past epiosodes brought up, and in true lost style, went out with you saying WTF! I enjoyed it.

As seen in micheals episode, the others could leave the island pretty much when they wanted (as long as they were high enough up). I'm sure that locke, as there new leader, could leave whenever he wanted
Same reason that they all (6) have to go together, in order for the plane to crash again, they will all have to be on the same flight.

Whoa! Hold on. Last season's cliff hanger wasn't a cliff hanger? You've got to be kidding me. Last season's whole flash forward twist blew the shit out of me. It was the greatest WTF and HOLY SHIT moment I've had on a TV show. This finally was still a WTF moment, I have to admit. But compared to last seasons, this was by far the least surprising.
It did answer questions and brought up more questions (as expected from a Lost episode), but the whole execution... bleh.
In May 2007, it was announced that Lost would continue for its fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons, concluding with the 117th produced episode in May 2010. These three final seasons were planned to consist of 16 episodes each, running weekly in the spring uninterrupted by repeats, though due to the recent WGA strike season four will only be 14 episodes long
