Rev6 is not posting anything not already sent to the client automatically. Any cheater with the right client can make it visible, so all rev6 is doing is leveling the playing field. Joymax shouldn't be so stupid to send both player name and alias name to the clients. Same goes for invisible/hidden people: invisible/hidden should be handled by the server, not by the client.

A lot of thins should be server side that are not. A few things that make botting possible for instance.

Putting the potting system server side would be nice, so I don't die every time I DC. And about the alias, if you job on a regular basis, it's not hard for people in-game to eventually figure out who you are. I kinda liked it better without the alias, was cool to go on a big trade run and see that it was an entire guild or union doing it together.

its the name u use when ur jobbing as either a thief, hunter or trader... it takes place of ur normal name when u are wearing a jobbing item.

Either way it's easy to find out who the job user is.

well if you're planning on flaming the player who killed you with this certain alias, of course you're going to use rev6 to find them... but it's not as simple as you think... the alias still comes in handy for certain cases, like temporary trade scams and not many people will know who you are if the one who got their trade scammed flames your 'alias' in a global.

ya the old days were better. you get your respect when the people see your name in a hunter/thief suit killing alot of ppl. then they see your guild name and is like 'im joining that guild when im higher lvl'
and i also hate the wait if you want to switch suits

yes alias' are not that cool why have them it makes for bad feeling in unions and guilds "I didn't know that was you when i killed you" if you knew your guild/union mates (were able to tell while jobbing) you could choose to ignore while working (common courtesy)
