lmao your a glaiver arnt you? i bet you are. do you know what that would do to pvp? there would be glaivers who would go sse>sss>sst>sse>sss>sst untill they get a stun, and when they get a stun just use some weak ass skill to get there hp down a little and folo with a ghost spear. there would also be warriors using sprint assult>daredevil>owned, as well as bowers doing strong bow>5combow>antidevil annialation. there are so many ppl that would benifit from stun stoping you from potting. but you know who would lose really bad? blades, swords, wiz, and you know... im farming a blader right now. if this happend, id quit sro for good. and ive been playing for over 2years, that would be a sad sad day.

Dual axe dmg is lower than 1H sword, 2H does more dmg than a nuker and its supposed to be a tank, I see rogues that walk around only in invisible, bard is the only class that has no defense skill, and Joymax never wanted powerlvl in fact they even have a penalty already for being 11 lvls too high it just isn't big enough.

I'm really suprised that not many people thought these things needed to fixed O_o, I don't think many of you have really thought about what you are saying.

I dont know how Dual axes damage is weaker.. their attack rate is a ton faster, and they have some nice little extras in their moves. I think dual axe is very underated..

I don't, a dual axe attacked me and he couldn't even break through my pots to get my hp to half but he couldn't tank very well either.

1]Dual Axe does higher damage than 1h don't let what the Dual Axe haters say deceive you.

2]2h defense is shyt compared to Axe and 1h not only that but with ~90% damage boost axe can and will out damage 2h when played properly.

3]Its a Assassin class that has little to no use in a party. Let it walk around in stealth, most rogues can't even play properly even with stealth.

4]Bards belong in parties.

You want to make Dual Axes more popular/better?
Have the Dual Axe defense passive increase both physical and magical defense.
Have the Dual Axe Protect Passive Increase the % of protection, stopping at 100%.
Make Holy Spell stop at 50% so Dual Axe is the only class that can have true immunity.

Either way it makes no difference. European characters belong in parties and the Dual Axe is to underrated.

Add in the AR boost, you'll be hitting at the high end of your damage more often than not. Then you have Higher defense than 2h. You have two fillers, and of course you have down Cross which does good damage when the person is under bleed. Bleed makes all the difference in the world, put them under bleed and stun then you have a build that can do damage comparable to 2h.


IMO it works like this:
1h=Best Tank.
2h=Best One Hit damage.
DA=Best Overall after considering the other benefits.


The guy that pvped you doesn't know how to play his build and probably hasn't farmed his passives or skins.

ok if axe damage isn't that bad then its defense passives need to be improved so that someone will play it, and 2H is overpowed they have a skill which can hit for 2 10k criticals no one could survive that :shock:. I still think that bard does need a skill similar to snow shield even if they can only cast it on themselves, its true that tambours help a lot but there will NEVER be more than 1 bard in your party, maybe if you play on venus there will be but that server isn't normal.

ya, true, however dual axe defense is better than 2h. Also, 2h seems pretty easy to pvp already. You just have to stop them from using dare devil, and they will have a hard time.

Yeah changing stun so it prevents pots is dumb, Prick can cause 10 second stun and warlocks can do 3 stuns back to back. Let's see how much of a good idea you think it is when you're stood there for 15 seconds before you can pot.

My wish list ^_^

1-New horse for 80+
2-make a special transport ONLY for hunters (like a faster horse)
3-make hunter & trader flags hide the player level (just like the thief suit)
4-different job levels can purchase different job flags with better blues on it (like a level 4 trader can get a trader flag with 4 str on it)
5- stack 20 elixirs
6-more specific item filter for picking pets
7-increase arrows stack to 500 or even 1000
8-Remove plvling/pfarming from the game (don't know how but justdo it)

(can someone post it for me on silkroad official forums cuz they say i can't post anything cuz my account is not registered)

-Trader could get a defence increase buff like snakestorm/castle that would last for 15 sec and protect them from 10% damage. (ThiefNPC hits for 1000, dmg recieved for lvl 2 trader is 800) It should increase with 10% every level, so that the max is 70% damage reduction for 15 sec.
Cooldown: 3 min

The gold reward should increase really really much.
Maybe there should be some kind of reward in the job system that makes you recive some more rare potion, like a stack of Vigors, when you do something courageous.
(Go on a 5 star trade for traders, kill x number of hunters/thief players during x sec/min)

-The trade level should also allow more goods to be transported for each tradelvl increase.
-The thief level should allow faster transportations and/or Bandit Scrolls that require shorter time for each thieflvl increase.
-The hunter level should allow an kind of new item, lets say a doll with HP depending on the level of the hunter that attracts aggro or something like that.

There should be more rewards for jobbing.
Seal of Honor - type of things should be an ultimate reward in the jobbing system, just like it is in academy.


I_R_Powerpff's post includes the most excellent ideas here, at least silkroad is based on the battle between thieves and hunters, this part needs the most progress.

Additionaly (by Ash & Vandango)

- New vehicles/transports
- stack elixiers
- more specific item filter (it has already exsist on kSRO)
- More events
- Few avatar suits for gold, or at least GDF and Santa Set for the new servers
- World-wide teleport (I miss it really)

Balance changes are totally unnecessary. There were a few dominant builds on every cap, remember Lv.70 (blader), Lv. 80 w/o skills (glaiver) and so on.

Till now you 2 are the 2 smartest guys around here, silkroad was build for the triangular(grammar) conflict so everything said about jobbing I agree with!!
It must be rewarded better and has to be more popular

Everyone wants to gimp 2handed, yet do the people who actually have a 2 handed sword want it gimped or just the people who have fought against them. I have a 2 handed swordman with cleric sub.

Its not as good of a tank as most people think it is and with less damage, what does it have?

See. The only thing 2h has going for it is damage, its like the glaiver. Coincidentally, 2h is the easiest Warrior to use.
