You say 3500 cant hold all the legits?
I look at venus and its always on populated. Why? Because legits cant play for 15 hours a day like bots. They grinding for a couple, maybe pvp and log off. Thats the key.

Even if theres 7000 legits who play on venus, most of them are on at different times and for short time periods compared to bots. Hence why its not crowded much.

Im talking as if there were no bots from the start and all the items we have now werent in existance yet.

Yes there would def be a decrease in the amount of +9 and sox items. BUT prices would not be this ridiculous.

Think about it like this. If you manage to be the only person on your server that made an 85+20 wep with all stats 100% and all blues 100%. great eh? Now you need gold so you try to sell it. If there is enough gold in the market that a person can go out and buy 10 bil, than you can sell your item for that price and someone desperate enough would buy it.

Now if there is only enough gold in the market that the richest person on your server has 20 mil. You asking for 10 bil = stall for rest of eternity. So without goldbots, less rare item, but still eventual price drop due to lack of billions in gold floating around.

So is that the way venus is?? cause if it is I wanna join!

it's not entirely the way venus is, but the suns are in the hand of legits and the bots instead of having free reign over their grinding spots get harassed.

Eventhough SRO has turned into a crappy game, i still feel like playing it for some reason, tried other games like 2moons and Perfectworld and they both sucked, 2moons is just too damn boring and its almost pointless to get capped and leveling in PW is just way too slow.
Im just waiting till 2009, some new games will come out like Diablo 3 and Guildwars 2, SRO will be history to me.

I guess most of us agree that yeah it all turned to crap. Same stories stand, same conclusions stand. I can't see it ever changing really. Botters will stay. Sun shit will stay..Legits might stay. At the end of the day it is still a buisness. Shytemax will continue to run it as a buisness, and that is to make money.

I was amused to see the comments about pvp lol. They are absolutely correct. In the days when I played, and was a lower level, pvp was fun..ermmm didn't stay that way.

I would often stand out there next to the botted, farmed, sun noobs as they paraded around with their gear on, hoping upon hoping someone would comment on them LOL. Then they would walk away when no one did.

Once we actually do reach 3500/3500 active legits in about a year or so, Joymax will finally see. They'll see that they're making more money from Venus alone then any other server. They'll either do 1 of 2 things: Raise Venus' cap, or ban all botters. Thats wishful thinking, but if Joymax behaves like most of you say they do; just out to get money, thats a likely scenario. If not, then Venus will become a silk server. There will be 3500/3500 premium users on it, and it'll be just like a pay to play game, pretty much. Pay to play legitSRO.

hmm thats kinda wishful thinkging, a years time is a long time for ONE server to be populated full of legits, especialyl when they crank servers every few months which = a nice boost of cash for them (hence why they have the capacity so low at the beginning. . .to basically FORCE you to silk it up.

If everyone like went on a campaign to recruit more legits to the server. . .(and have at least 50-60% buy silk. . .not 13 year old kids with too much time on their hands during summer vacation) THEN I can see that come about. . .but this game has been on for like what five years by now? If that were really possible, it would have happened already. While that would be an awesome thing if it were. . . .the chances of it happening by even in a year (a whole server of silk paying legits. . .) is very much close to zero. Im pretty sure the people at joymax already know this and understand that opening more servers and upping the cap is what is going to be bringing the money in. . .

once they reach the FINAL cap of 150 (I heard that somewhere I forgot) THEN, maybe a year after that and everyones all done with the game they will have no use for botting silk buyers. . . .but that is a long time coming.

The Euroupdate was a fun approahch to levelling that pretty much takes the need for botting out of the game, it isnt like in the chinese side where its kill 21342358743598437598 of the same monster using the same 2-3 buttons for ten thousand years. . .with the same music playing over and over in the background. . . If silkroad had started off THAT way with THAT approach to levelling, botting would pretty much be non-existant, becuase grinding would be so much FUN! The game was desinged from the start to be a boring grindfest, they knew that there was going to be an influx of bots (remember the protectors at the grocer?) most people knew that back when xian first came out. hell if you look at the silkroad website it tells you in their wonderful english about you sohuldnt worry about being the best and highest lvl and enjoy the game by doing jobbing. . .they KNEW that most of their product was a bore. . .it was desinged that way to get people to buy upgrades. . .and tempt people to bot. . .which screws up the economy in favor of joymax. . .(people want more chances to get better items hence the plus luck on premium) they had this game all figured out. Im not even gonna go into how I think theyre in cahoots with some of the bot companies. . .that just pisses me off to even think about it.

so yeah, its gonna be a while before legits rule the game I fear. . .but as long as they keep the gold bots to a minimum at least so I can grind in peace then Id be "happy"

Im 7x and dont feel like a noob. i play for over 2 years, hav a lot of friends and pvp and go to ctf a lot. So, the fun is in how u look to da game. If envy da bots is ur way, quit.

The fun starts when u play CTF

Have alot of friends, u can talk, true, you can do that on msn, forums and N number another ways. PVP = Fun < HUH??!?! same lvl players equipped with +7 full set .. LOL thats not gonna be fun, or isit?

same for CTF, when ur ganged by some rich ass noobs >.<

actually i pwn at ctf and at pvp. and about get gangbanged or w/e.. things of da game. i used to envy da high lvls and bots.. but i found out theyre all a$$holes. so i enjoy da game by myself and with my legit friends, havin fun on gettin stronger and playin together. as i said, its all about how u look to it.

Theres a Way to avoid that, is called strategy.
All you have to do is tell ur team mates to spawn all at once,when they die.
that way the enemy team won't outnumber/gangrape you.
