Hey i was wondering, how do GMs find out if someone is botting?
Like if there were tons of bots training at ongs and if the gms were to ban them, would they mistake a legit training around those bots and ban them too?

My friend was banned and he was barely lv 7 training at mangyangs.

they detect modified clients like if your pk2 editing they detect that, if your using a multi client they will detect, if your using a bot they will detect that.

if he was lvl 7 ... he was probably using a multi client which can get you banned ... hence why so many people's "stallers" have been banned

btw ... why would a lvl 7 grind on mangyang?

no one except joymax knows how the banning process is done. all we can do is guess.
most likely it's some kind of automated process, and because of that, i would say yes even legit can get banned.
thats my guess. :P

pk2 edited my ass. i dont believe any1 has been banned for pk2 editing unless they globaled it. joymax has nothing to detect your files.

There is noway to get unbanned they only have a ban option -.-

level 7 and still training on mangyangs? Your friend might want to think about moving to something a little higher like the weasels or stone ghosts.

I wonder if you can get banned by using windows (with the use of a different account and loading 1 client in the other account's name) itself to multiclient for a stall char.

Wasn't this blocked long time ago?

Well you certainly wouldn't be able to have access to both clients at the same time. Windows doesn't give both user accounts access to the desktop at the same time last I checked.

Besides, I'm almost positive if you tried running SRO under the second user account, you would get the "Silkroad is already running" error message and the client would fail to run.
