you guys think jm going to keep doing the bot bans? i mean, they banned less than 10,000 bots this time(i think) and the servers are always crowded. next ban there probly only be like 2000 banned, the we'll be lucky if we get another. i think jm realized they were losing money... it was fun while it lasted

I'm pretty suspicious about the continuation or consistency of their bot bans because of this week.
A couple days will tell I guess, but it was better then nothing.

What they need to do is figure out a way to block bots in general. You don't see this many bots in other online games, so how come they can't block these bots?

They ban but only gold bots mostly. Also some of town spammers. I dont really know is it allowed to say on srf but ppl that use illegal software just have to delete ErrorSender from sro folder. Then you cant get banned. I havent rly tested this cause i play kSRO but my friends said that it works.

Now, so we all know that a lot of botters use money to buy the bot, so if they are willing to pay for that they also probably are silk buyers. We also know that a good 80% of people 76+ bot. If they banned all the botters, then they would lose a crippling amount of income. Its a shame it got this far.

Yes as Shadow said I think they will make the bot amounts small nd then when the servers get filled with them again this will happen again.

I think these bot bans are uncovering a truth that JM really isnt running as well as they say. Without the gold bots, the servers are barely reaching 1/2 capacity at times , except of course when the turks come on (no offence just making a point because turks are the Nr1 players of sro according to google trends). Other then those times, you would be lucky to see a server with 2000/3500. So i think that if these bot bans keep goin and they start banning "bot bots" the servers would slowly dwindle down to about 500/3500.
For an example of this see csro, tsro, etc. Its really boring with only 500 ppl on the server. It might be fun at first but if u do the calcs, since all those people will be legit they cant go 24/7 so...
at least 1/3 will be stalling/not online, at least 1/3 will be grinding, so that leaves only 1/3 to do other things. So thats only approx 165 people to pvp/job/etc. BORING. BTW this isnt by lvl so u could have maybe only 20 lv 80+ and the rest be lv 30s. That would suck.
So no, i dont think they can keep banning "bot bots" gold bots yes players bots no. Maybe some that havent bought silk in awhile.

They would condense the servers to make them more full. Most MMOs don't have 30 servers full of bots >_>

All hell will break loose >_>

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Oh yea a server wipe and complete reset would go over without a hitch im 100% sure xD lolz good one baro xD that made my day They are probably better off legalizing private servers and taking a cut of it then doin that.

It is about customer service. IF you blocked or hindered your main customers that would be seen as bad or negative customer service. What a few players who follow the official rules want is inconsequential. Even Joymax does not follow/enforce their own rules. Everything joymax does is simply an empty symbol. Nothing more.

then all they would need to do is transfer data from other servers so ppl dont lose their chars.
