You don't need it since you are STR and that gives more damage to INT, unless you want your Imbues (Ice, Lightening, Fire) to do more damage there is no point in that skill.

I use it just because I have lightning at lvl 32.

i just use it to power up my imbue.

if u have the sp, u can add it.

you add say 10% extra dam to your imbue
yet you also lose around 70 to 60% of all your magic damage to ballance

its not wurth the sp imo

go and do some testing
kill some mobs with and without using your imbue
find out how much dmg your imbue is doing
now you can decide if 5-15% of this dmg is worth the sp or not
