Hello Artist Corner! =D
For school, i need to make a self portrait in the style of an artist, he doesn't have to be famous.
So, does anyone have some suggestions because i don't know much about those artists.
If you have one, please post a picture with it.
The drawing can be made on the computer with photoshop or whatever, or just on a paper with paint :)
*NOTE: My drawing skillz aren't great xD

Lol? 0-0

I like Van Gogh's portraits, their kinda grainy due to the paint but seem to have a fair amount of detail. If your gonna do a self portrait, every second look at what your drawing. DOn't try to memorize and do it, doing portraits isn't hard if you pay attention to detail.

I like using bright coloured pencils in my portraits rather then pencils. Sometimes I even use rather obscure shapes and build up the shape of the face from that.
This is one I did in class bored to kinda show what I mean. Quickie of my friend who sits next to me. So it's not a "self portrait" per say but you get the point.
Spoiler!

Here's another piece I absolutely love. It was probably done using a graphic tablet but you can easily reproduce something similar on paper. Just the shapes and his line work alone leave me in awe.

Another artist I admire. His work is so sick it makes your own work feel like shit. I'm not sure how I came across him, I think it was Priam who linked it once but never the less I am more then grateful. Just love it.

anyway hope I helped.
